Kate Middleton and Prince William Give Prince George a Wonderful Christmas Despite Problems

Kate Middleton and Prince William might be under stress while Prince Harry flirts with mystery blonde and Camilla Parker-Bowles might be trying to ruin everyone’s Christmas but Prince George is still a happy baby. Prince George is having a wonderful, picturesque Christmas filled with holiday fairs, frolicking through the lands, getting his royal photos taken, and now meeting Santa Claus. According to the Daily Mail, the Middleton family, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince George all arrived in Norfolk on Tuesday for the holidays. And then, Kate and Will decided to take little George out to tour Santa’s Magical Journey in Thursford, which was a treat for the little toddler. Apparently, he gazed in delight at his surroundings, and ‘clapped his hands’ in glee when he met Father Christmas.

Of course, that’s not the big story coming out of Norfolk this week. No, it’s whether Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince George will deign to join Queen Elizabeth on Christmas, or whether they will snub her and spend it at Anmer Hall. As the Mail’s source explains, “It’s not clear yet whether the Duchess’s family have been invited to join the Queen, but it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see them walking to Church on Christmas Day and even join everyone for lunch before returning to Anmer in the evening. It will be quite a turn up for books if they do, but the Queen doesn’t do anything by the book when it comes to William’s new family.”

As IF. Queen Elizabeth would never invite the Middleton family to attend Church with her. Sure, they might be there on Will’s and Kate’s invitation, but as part of the Queen’s invitation? Not happening. Now, I think it’s fairly certain that William, Kate, and George will spend some part of Christmas with the Queen, and I doubt they’ll pass up the annual boxing day photoshoot. But the rest of Christmas will probably be spent with the Middletons, considering the entire family is there and I doubt they came up to Norfolk to sit and stay in their home while Kate, Will, and George abandon them to do the Queen’s bidding.
