Kristen Stewart‘s attempts to get over Robert Pattinson are getting more and more transparent, especially as she tries her best to move on from him permanently. Unfortunately, she’s not quite as confident in her moving-on strategies, and her biggest attempt to forget Rob seems to be taking constant road trips. We already know that Kristen is throwing herself full pelt into her career, and traveling all over the world so she doesn’t risk running into Rob at one of their shared haunts in Los Angeles. However, Kristen probably didn’t expect Rob to as apathetic to her situation as he’s being.
Of course Rob’s hookups with Katy Perry didn’t help the situation much. While some naive Twihards (oxymoron?) might want to think that Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson are just friends, the evidence that they are friends with benefits is plentiful.
Obviously, it’s Kristen’s fault that the couple even broke up in the first place. Nobody forced her to have an affair with her married director, Rupert Sanders. Nobody forced her to hook up with Rupert in broad daylight, and nobody forced her to publicly apologize for the affair and humiliate herself and Rob in the process.
However, recovering from a long-term relationship is a step-by-step process, and it takes a lot of effort and perseverance. Kristen is doing her best, and that ‘best’ includes taking road trips with her close friends and forgetting about Rob. According to recent reports, Kristen’s doing all she can to leave Los Angeles on vacations with her friends as well as jobs abroad, and her biggest motivation in doing so is to forget about Rob. Sure, it’s not working very well right now, but eventually, Kristen will be able to move on for good. The only question is how long it will take Kristen to get to that place in her life, although Rob’s already shown signs of moving on.
