Is Tamra Barney fired from Real Housewives of Orange County? Well, yes and no. Rumors were circulating for months that Bravo was firing the reality TV diva, and some pretty reliable sources said that Tamra was as good as fired. However, Tamra wasn’t going to go quietly. Real Housewives of Orange County is Tamra’s livelihood, unlike the other women that have appeared on the show, it literally is all that she has left when you take in to consideration her loveless marriage, struggling fitness gym, and the fact that she doesn’t have custody of her own children. So, Bravo isn’t necessarily firing her, but has found a way to make the housewife quit on her own accord.
One of the reasons the producers of RHOC dislike Tamra almost as much as viewers at home, is because she has a nasty habit of outing them and sharing behind the scenes secrets with the masses. She even took to social media in the past and claimed that the producers forced them to shoot certain scenes of Real Housewives of Orange County, and even made housewives attend events when they were sick. Despite the fact that Tamra is a raging diva to try and film, and no one can stand to be around her, even her co-stars, the producers are scared of what Tamra may do if they fire her. The producers are concerned that she may take to social media or her blogging friends, and share all of their behind-the-scenes secrets, scandals, and unconventional filming techniques.
So, for fear of Tamra knocking Bravo and spilling all their secrets the producers have decided that instead of firing Tamra, they will just add Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa Bryant to the cast. According to a source close to Real Housewives of Orange County’s production team, “No one needs to fire Tamra. After filming a few scenes with Vanessa, she’ll leave on her own. Vanessa is a firecracker, Tamra is no match for her and she knows it. Tamra would rather quit the show than let Vanessa make a fool of her. She is already insecure about shooting with Vanessa because she is so much younger and richer than her. In Tamra’s eyes she was always the hottest housewife on RHOC, and now that is all about to change.”
As much as we were really looking forward to Bravo firing Tamra, it may be just as fun to watch Kobe Bryant’s wife shred her on the next season of RHOC.
