Chris Soules picked Whitney Bischoff over Becca Tilley, and one of the biggest reasons behind his decision was Whitney’s seeming rapport with his family back in Iowa. However, a new report from Star Magazine is now claiming that Whitney Bischoff has been hiding a tragic family history, one that might prevent her from getting emotionally intimate with Chris.
Star’s source claims, “It’s been hard for Whitney to really put her trust in a partner after what she experienced. I really hope and pray that Chris is as decent a man as he seems and that he’ll help make this a turning point in her life.”
So what is this traumatic experience that sources are referring to? Well, Whitney Bischoff’s father reportedly left her and her mother for another woman when Whitney was just a toddler, leaving her devastated and her family broken. Apparently, the whole situation left Whitney with major trust issues, and she’s not sure if Chris Soules will follow in her father’s footsteps. Plus, she’s already in an emotionally vulnerable place when it comes to her family, since her mother died years ago and she has no relationship with her father today [although don’t be surprised if he suddenly surfaced and started giving interviews to the National Enquirer].
Plus, Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff did meet on the Bachelor, which already has an extremely poor track record of turning out lasting relationships. In this particular situation, Chris Soules has not given Whitney any reason to distrust him, but he already seems like he places a higher value on fame than the stability of his relationship. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have agreed to be on the Bachelor in the first place, much less followed that up with a stint on Dancing with the Stars.
