Chris Soules and his fiancée Whitney Bischoff are officially broken up – and although the couple was basically doomed from the start, a new report reveals that Chris’s cheating was the final straw. Chris and Whitney haven’t publicly confirmed that their relationship is over, but Whitney moved back home to Chicago and didn’t even show up to Chris’s last two Dancing With The Stars performances, the couple didn’t even spend their 6 month anniversary together last week. But, with the premiere of The Bachelorette on Monday May 18, Chris and Whitney have had no choice but to put on a happy couple façade and pretend they are still together for the sake of the reality TV franchise. Whitney even travelled to Arlington to try and convince fans that she and Chris are still together – no one is buying it though.
Since Chris Soules moved to Los Angeles after he finished filming The Bachelor – it was obvious that he had no intention of settling down, and was linked to various women and cheating scandals. The May 25 cover of Life & Style Magazine features a photo of Soules and Bischoff and is captioned with the headline, “Bachelor Break-Up: Furious Whitney Says ‘You Cheated.’” Although Chris Soules has been accused of cheating with multiple women since his engagement – Whitney Bischoff is most likely referring to his rumored fling with his Dancing With The Stars partner Witney Carson.
When Chris began performing on Dancing With The Stars – his chemistry with Witney Carson was undeniable and everyone noticed the sparks flying between them, including Whitney Bischoff. The final straw was reportedly at an event after a live DWTS show, in which multiple party-goers noticed that Chris was totally ignoring his fiancée Whitney Bischoff and spent the entire night dancing with Witney Carson and openly flirting with her in front of everyone. Chris Soules had lived a predominantly sheltered life in Iowa before he began his stint as The Bachelor – so it is not exactly shocking that once he made it to Los Angeles and red carpet events, the last thing he wanted was to be tied down to one woman.
Even though everyone knows that Chris Soules cheated on Whitney Bischoff, including Whitney herself – the couple swallowed their pride and met up in Arlington, Iowa to promote the new season of The Bachelorette. This week they bombarded social media with photos of each other – to try and combat the rumors of their break-up. The last thing The Bachelor and Bachelorette producers want is Chris and Whitney’s break-up over-shadowing the premiere and making it seem like all of the relationships that come out of the show are complete flops. The Bachelor and Bachelorette turnover rates have been dismal over the last few seasons, and viewers are starting to lose faith in the show – producers need Whitney and Chris to stay together at least until after the premiere to reassure the viewers that the shows are complete shams.
