“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Monday, August 17, show that a furious Sonny (Freddie Smith) will head over to see Paul (Christopher Sean). Sonny couldn’t believe that Will (Guy Wilson) revealed information from his interview just to give Derrick (Spencer Neville) and Paul’s relationship a nudge. DOOL spoilers indicate that Sonny will track down Paul to get his side of the story. Sonny is starting to understand that there’s no hope for his marriage. Will just can’t rest with Paul and Sonny in the same town. Since Paul has no intention of leaving, it seems Sonny will decide he’s the one who needs to get out of Salem.
Stick with “Days of Our Lives” to watch Sonny accept a job from Victor (John Aniston) and leave for Europe on Tuesday, August 18, Freddie Smith’s final day on DOOL. Freddie gave an exit interview to SID where he described shooting his final scenes: “As Freddie, I was genuinely sad, and so was the character. As Sonny, I was saying good-bye to the people in his life, and I was saying farewell to people that I’ve worked with for four years. My life in Salem as Sonny, and my job at ‘DAYS’ melded together. It was very emotional.” Of course Sonny may return to Days one day since he is not killed off.
Abigail (Kate Mansi) will have an interesting encounter with Stefano (Joseph Mascolo). After Chad (Billy Flynn) turned down his father’s offer to get rid of Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), Stefano decided he’d have to find another way to get Abigail and Chad back together. Stefano will try to convince Abigail to give Chad one more shot. Stef’s visit will probably only make Abigail even more wary of getting too close to Chad. Abigail may feel that the DiMeras would put her baby in danger. However, at least Abigail might come to realize that Chad really was looking out for her when he pushed her away.
Other “Days” spoilers say JJ (Casey Moss) will be more determined than ever to get Kyle (Michael Cardelle) out of Paige’s (True O’Brien) life. Kyle is beginning to trust JJ, but he’s taking his time easing him into the business. JJ is growing impatient with the situation. Paige may be falling for Kyle and JJ fears she could be in danger if he doesn’t do something fast. JJ will get an idea of how he can hurry this process along, but there’s a good chance this plan won’t work out. DOOL rumors hint that Paige may end up dead by the end of September.
