“General Hospital” spoilers and coming and going rumors are teasing that Bradford Spinelli is returning to the ABC soap in 2015, and this time he will actually be sticking around! Rumors are always popping up claiming that Spinelli is returning to “General Hospital,” but the buzz on social media and soap opera message boards is that Spinelli has officially signed a 1 year contract with ABC. So far Bradford Anderson has not confirmed nor denied the new casting rumor, however on January 21st he posted a photo of himself on Twitter with “General Hospital” star Ryan Paevey – only further fueling the casting spoilers that have been making their rounds, and leading fans to believe that he was at the GH set.
“General Hospital” character Damian Spinelli debuted in Port Charles back in 2006. The quirky hacker grew on GH fans with his nerdy tech-savvy persona and love for Maxie Jones. “General Hospital” fans were devastated to see Bradford Anderson exit in 2013, although he did make two very brief appearances in 2014. Early in the year Carly and Franco paid Spinelli a visit in Portland and enlisted his help to record the recording of Sonny killing AJ Quartermaine. And, on New Year’s Eve, Spinelli appeared again when Maxie finally was granted visitation of her daughter Georgie and visited her and her father in Portland.
The odds of Bradford Anderson signing a one year contract with the ABC soap are actually very likely – he was recently quoted in a Soap Opera Digest interview in which he revealed he was interested in returning and was “itching to get back to work.” If Bradford returns to Port Charles as Maxie Jones’s baby-daddy Spinelli, it could spell some trouble for her new relationship with Ryan Paevey’s character Nathan.
