“General Hospital” spoilers and casting news tease that Vanessa Marcil is headed back to the ABC soap to reprise the role of Brenda Barrett. GH rumors have been floating around for months claiming that Brenda Barrett was headed back to Port Charles – and it looks like they are finally coming to fruition. On April 7th Vanessa Marcil took to Twitter and posted a photo of herself and captioned it, “Aaaahhhh! About to share some big news! So excited!”
“General Hospital” alum Kimberly McCullough, known for her role as Robin Scorpio-Drake, responded to Vanessa’s photo and pointed out the she was in a GH dressing room. McCullough wrote, “You’re in a GH dressing room, I can tell #psychofan.”
Although Vanessa Marcil has not officially confirmed her return to “General Hospital,” considering all of the rumors that have been floating around and the fact that she is taking selfies in a GH dressing room – it’s safe to say that she is currently filming scenes for the ABC soap. “General Hospital” spoilers recently revealed that the annual Nurse’s Ball will air on GH on May 1st, 4th, and 5th – so it looks like Brenda Barrett will be returning to Port Charles just in time for the big event.
“General Hospital” rumors have been teasing for quite a while that Brenda is heading back to Port Charles to stir up an exciting love triangle between herself, Sonny Corinthos, and Carly Jax. Brenda Barrett and Sonny had a long complicated relationship on the soap – and everyone is wondering which woman he would choose if they were both in Port Charles at the same time. We can’t wait to see Brenda and Carly go head to head at the Nurse’s Ball over the mobster. So far, there is no news yet on how long Marcil will be sticking around the ABC soap – hopefully it is not just a brief guest spot, and she actually has a storyline or two.
