Will Nina Dobrev steal her ex Ian Somerhalder back from Nikki Reed? The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev is watching her TV show and career sink right before her eyes. A few years ago, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder were one of the hottest couples in Hollywood, and their CW television show was receiving rave reviews and at its ratings prime. Since Nina and Ian broke up, the show has steadily gone downhill and is rumored to be cancelled in 2015. Of course the fact that Ian Somerhalder is now engaged to Nikki Reed is not helping matters any.
It is no secret that Nina Dobrev thinks that Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed’s engagement is a joke and that the couple will never set a wedding date. Nina Dobrev, always the business woman, is determined to see that Ian and Nikki never make it down the aisle. Not because she wants her ex back – but because as far as she is concerned they are slowly killing her career. Think about it, since Nikki and Ian got together, Nina’s name is not in the news half as often as it used to be. And Nikki put the brakes on her fiancée and Nina’s love scenes on The Vampire Diaries – which is rumored to be one of the main reasons no one tunes in to the show anymore.
So will Nina be able to successfully sabotage Nikki and Ian’s engagement? Well, considering Nikki’s track record with relationships, it shouldn’t be that difficult. And, according to recent reports, Ian is already growing bored with playing house with Nikki and her less than exciting personality. Then again, when you go from dating a drama queen like Nina Dobrev for several years to a mature and laid back girl like Nikki, we can see why Ian would be getting bored.
