“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, April 29, tease that Adam’s (Justin Hartley) slip could cost him. Adam, who’s pretending to be Gabriel, isn’t aware that the Jack (Peter Bergman) he’s been talking to is an imposter. When Adam mentions that he’s not an Abbott or a Bingham, Jack’s doppelganger will look confused. Adam will try to convince fake Jack that Victor (Eric Braeden) can’t be trusted, but it won’t do any good. Fake Jack will explain that being trapped with Victor changed their relationship. Later, fake Jack will inform Victor that Gabriel isn’t who he says he is. The conversation will shift to the real Jack and Victor will shout that it’s none of fake Jack’s concern. When he tries to argue, Victor will say that if fake Jack can’t do his job, he’s of no use. Victor will urge fake Jack to stay away from Gabriel to avoid tipping his hand.
Victor will also have a chat with Kelly (Cady McClain) about a delivery he sent her. Victor will say that he hopes it will help her control the situation and Kelly will indicate that it should do the trick. Meanwhile, Billy (Burgess Jenkins) will appear and Jack will ask for his help getting free. Suddenly, Kelly will come back and tell Jack that he must be dreaming. Kelly will say that no one will be looking for him since everyone thinks he’s dead. That goes for Phyllis, too. Jack will shout that she’s lying, but Kelly will present him with proof. Kelly will pull out articles that say Phyllis is dead and Jack will ask to be left alone. Kelly will declare that there’s nothing left to stand in the way of their love. Jack won’t indulge in her twisted fantasy and Kelly will say she’s leaving him there to starve.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) will surprise Summer (Hunter King) with a romantic evening. Kyle will treat Summer to a nice dinner and present her with an expensive necklace, but she’ll indicate that she doesn’t want everything to be about money. Summer made that mistake with Austin (Matthew Atkinson) and she doesn’t want to make it again. When Kyle takes some jabs at Austin, Summer will say that she’s not sure she likes who Kyle is becoming. Summer will hand him the necklace and say that there are plenty of other girls that will be impressed by it. Kyle will offer to take her home, but Summer will call a cab. Later, Kyle will give fake Jack updates on his horrible date. Fake Jack will say he needs a distraction and he’ll urge Kyle to take the sports car for a spin.
Anita (Catherine Bach) will show up to ask Billy and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) about the big emergency. They’ll inform Anita that they’re getting married tonight. Billy will go pack and Anita will hint that Chelsea may be running from Gabriel. Chelsea will say that Billy is the one she wants to marry. After Billy and Chelsea leave, Gabe will stop by the penthouse to see Chelsea. Anita will give Gabriel the news that Chelsea and Billy are off eloping.
Chelsea will speak privately with Billy about Adam being in the past and she’ll add she’s ready for her future. A little later, Gabriel will show up to see Chelsea. Billy will eavesdrop as Chelsea explains that Gabe should just forget that anything ever happened between them. It was only sex. Gabriel will hint that it was a lot more than that, but Chelsea will tell him to leave. At the athletic club, Victor will suggest that Gabe should have drink. Victor will say that he thinks it’s a mistake for Chelsea to leave the company and Gabriel should convince her to come back. Gabe will snap about how Chelsea is impulsive and stubborn. Victor will reply that Gabriel seems to know Chelsea very well. It sounds like Victor could learn Gabriel’s true identity soon.
Chelsea will be stunned when Billy says that he’s pressured her into eloping. Billy will indicate that he wants to do this right and Chelsea will agree. They’ll hug as Billy hints that he’s going to give Chelsea exactly what she deserves. It looks like Adam may still have a chance to get what he wants. The rumors say things are going to get pretty ugly between Chelsea and Billy. Stick with Y&R to see what Billy has in mind for Chelsea.
