Fresh General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) will take advantage of the Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) tragedy to work on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and wreck his marriage with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
GH spoilers have been simmering since Nelle came to town that she had an agenda and would make a move to seduce Sonny away from Carly. GH fans didn’t think this seemed plausible since the union of Sonny and Carly has never been stronger.
This was true but coming drama will change everything and Sonny and Carly’s marriage will be fractured. This is the opportunity for Nelle to wreck Carly’s life. We saw on the Friday, October 7 GH episode that Sonny promised Carly things will be better.
Sonny called off the hit on Julian Jerome (William deVry) under pressure from Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen). Sonny reassured Carly and they will spend a happy evening that will be disrupted by a call to let them know that Morgan is missing and presumed dead.
Once Carly finds out that Morgan’s fell prey to a hit on Julian gone bad, she will be furious at Sonny. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) warned Sonny he would cut him out of his life to protect his family from Sonny’s violent lifestyle. That seems likely now.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny will soon find himself with his marriage on the rocks, Dante estranged from him, and Morgan presumed dead (although we all know a charred survivor will probably crop up later as part of a recast plot).
Sonny will be grieving, without his support system and vulnerable to Nelle who reaches out to Sonny during the week of October 17 when she comforts and tries to help him deal with his grief and loss. This is Nelle’s way to start her revenge scheme.
GH fans have seen her shady glares behind Carly’s back and we’ll soon see Nelle get closer to Carly. Nelle gets Carly to open up about her concerns about Sonny and her marriage. This will provide valuable information to Nelle to further her plan.
GH spoilers have not revealed what Nelle’s master plan is, but she’s unfairly blaming Carly for her parents selling off her kidney on the black market. Carly knew nothing about this, but Nelle isn’t thinking about this logically – only emotionally.
It’s like when Carly came to Port Charles and saw Bobbie Spencer living a nice life. Nelle sees Carly living a plush life while Nelle is unhealthy and had her life screwed up by the organ sale. Her parents are dead, so Carly is the person she can punish.
Sonny has cheated many times in the past – on Carly and others. There’s a pattern of behavior and Sonny will be an easy target for Nelle because no one else is on his side. With the family grieving Morgan and blaming Sonny, he’ll need a friendly face.

Plus, new General Hospital spoilers video show Sonny and Julian in an all-out war against each other and the Corinthos clan won’t like that either. So when Nelle cuddles up to Sonny, he might be so unhinged that it seems like a good idea.
