Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is blissfully unaware of her youngest son’s fate when she chats with Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) at the MetroCourt and warns her off about a customer who might come into the hotel upset. But soon, Carly’s happiness will come crashing down around her.

At the explosion site, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) gets an update from the search team that they cannot find Morgan. The car and Morgan both went over the cliff in the explosion and it looks like the river washed Morgan away. Dante will have to inform Sonny and Carly.

For now, Dante is devastated that his brother has lost his life and he’ll soon figure out this was a hit gone wrong ordered by Sonny. Julian meets with Ava Jerome (Maura West) and warns her that they’re both in trouble since someone just tried to kill him and got Morgan instead.

Ava is stunned and will feel like she’s to blame for Morgan’s death. But on the flip side, if she had not tampered with Morgan’s meds, Julian would be dead right now, not Morgan. Ava is sickened by her scheme that worked out in Julian’s favor.

That’s not all that Ava needs to worry about, though, since Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) tells Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about Paul Hornsby’s (Richard Burgi) final remark to “ask Ava” what happened with Julian’s trial.

The three put their heads together and try and figure out how Ava could have tampered with the trial and whether they can put her away since they failed to imprison Julian for his actions. Franco (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) have some drama at home.

Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) shows up irate and tells Franco to stay the hell away from her and her family and Jake Webber (Hudson West) overhears and asks why they’re fighting. Will Sam tell her stepson about Franco’s ugly past? Franco takes a stand on his behalf and tells Sam to deal with it.

Franco makes it clear that he’s committed to Liz and isn’t going anywhere. Will Sam’s remarks affect Jake’s perception of Franco as a good guy who cares about him and his mom? We’ll see what comes next. Share your comments on these spoilers for the Tuesday, October 11 episode.
