Queen Elizabeth Approves Princess Eugenie Engagement To Jack Brooksbank: Royal Wedding Planned For 2017?

Queen Elizabeth Approves Princess Eugenie Engagement To Jack Brooksbank: Royal Wedding Planned For 2017?

Princess Eugenie has spent a fair amount of time in the spotlight over the past several months. The younger daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson may soon have exciting news to share, as there are whispers in Royal circles that Eugenie and long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank will announce their engagement any day now.

A Royal wedding will most assuredly push Pippa Middleton’s 2017 society wedding down a few rungs. Added bonus? It puts Sarah Ferguson back in the spotlight as the mother of the bride, pushing Carole Middleton out of the spotlight.

Daily Mail reports that Eugenie – after six years of dating her beau – finally took Jack to Balmoral to meet Queen Elizabeth. Her Majesty approves of Eugenie’s suitor and has given her blessing to the couple’s marriage plans, according to insiders.

Eugenie and Jack looked happier than ever when the couple stepped out for an event recently in London. Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank were cooperative and stopped and posed for the paparazzi upon their arrival.

Poor, poor Pippa Middleton! Kate Middleton’s little sister has been the talk of the town since announcing her engagement to James Matthews. Now it appears that Pippa’s gala society wedding of the year will get lost in the shuffle as Eugenie plans to walk down the aisle with Jack.

Eugenie was sharing a flat at St. James Palace with older sister Princess Beatrice but moved to a 3-bedroom cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace. That wasn’t long after Beatrice and boyfriend of 10-years Dave Clark called it quits. Reportedly, Beatrice and Dave ended their relationship because Dave just wasn’t ready to commit.

Kate Middleton and Princess Eugenie’s relationship has been frosty but reportedly had been warming up when Eugenie made the move to Kensington Palace. The Duchess of Cambridge seemingly was welcoming Eugenie into the Cambridge’s inner circle. Once Eugenie gets married and pops out a wee one, Kate and Eugenie will have more in common and cold become besties.

Has Queen Elizabeth given her blessing to Jack Brooksbank’s request to ask for Princess Eugenie’s hand in marriage? Maybe the couple is waiting to announce their engagement until Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s 69th wedding anniversary on November 20. That gives Eugenie and Jack plenty of time to plan a Royal wedding for the spring or summer of 2017.
