General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal the one person who will be affected the most by the return of Steve Burton’s unknown character is Samantha “Sam” Morgan (Kelly Monaco). GH’s Sam has been through a lot lately, including contracting toxoplasmosis but mentally she has been struggling much longer than that. As CDL explained in recent posts, Billy Miller is pre-accident, pre-Stone Cold Jason Quartmaine and all signs point to Steve Burton returning to his role of Stone Cold Jason Morgan. While fans of the ABC soap opera are very conflicted over the who should be the original Jason Quartermaine Morgan and who should be an entirely new character, in fact that is not a viable fan choice. There are twin Jasons – and Billy Miller plays one and Steve Burton the other.
So let’s imagine what this all means for Sam Morgan and her whole life being turned upside down. General Hospital spoilers remind viewers that Sam had at one point absolutely accepted Jason’s Stone Cold lifestyle and was even okay with him being Port Charles’ Mobfather Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) right-hand man, meaning he would have to kill or shoot someone at any given moment.
When Sam got sick and was hallucinating and delusional, she hated Sonny and viewed her dear friend as a threat; someone she had to eliminate in order to keep her husband, Jason safe. She suddenly wanted Jason as far away from the mob life and Sonny as possible; even shooting and leaving sonny for dead to ensure it would happen. Her actions and mentality at the moment was blamed on the parasitic disease; but one can’t help and think maybe this is something she has been feeling subconsciously for a long time.
General Hospital sources suggest that Steve Burton’s enforcer Stone Cold Jason is coming back, and while Billy Miller portrays the role more like the original Jason Quartermaine. This Jason was calm, loving, emotional and a golden boy before he was tragically altered after his drunk brother, AJ Quartermaine (then Billy Warlock), nearly killed him – Steve Burton’s portrays a cold, ruthless killer version of Jason Morgan – Stone Cold is coming back!
General Hospital spoilers suggest Sam will be in for the emotional struggle of a lifetime when Steve Burton returns because she now has children with both men. Who do you think Sam will choose? She already lost Jason to the mob life once, when he was presumed dead after Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) shot him and tossed him into the water.
