General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will be returning to Port Charles soon. GH buzz is that he will be furious that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has moved on with Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) after he just filed for divorce from his wife, Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford).
GH’s Anna Devane has been very compassionate to Valentin’s plight, encouraging him to face what he had done and assuring him that his daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), will be taken care of and know that her papa loves her.
It was very clear how much Anna cared for him and how far she is willing to go to appease him – like when she insisted on Charlotte watching his “goodbye” video to her mother, Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan).
General Hospital spoilers show that after Valentin has been taken away in handcuffs, Anna has been able to settle back into some normalcy, but is she emotionally ready to move on? She was alone at Kelly’s, trying to come to terms with testifying against Valentin. She sympathizes and feels responsible that Valentin is in this position thanks to her twin sister, Alex.
GH’s Dr. Maddox wants Anna to be reminded of joy in this world – he takes her to a dance studio, as they dance things heat up and they kiss. General Hospital sources reveal Valentin will be returning to Port Charles in July – how will he react to Anna being with another man? Valentin was ending things with Nina, obviously feeling he and Anna have a deep connection that was worth exploring.
Valentin no longer has custody of his daughter and he is no longer married meaning he has nothing left to lose. Could General Hospital fans finally see the dangerous and vindictive side of the Cassadine heir emerge?
Viewers of the ABC soap opera have thoroughly enjoyed Valentin and with him being the dominant Cassadine in Port Charles we are desperate to see him return. Perhaps he will display some of the dark side most Cassadines possess in abundance.
