Kim Zolciak has vowed to stop posting photos of her dogs on social media after she got a surprise visit from animal control. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star was shocked after one of her social media followers called animal control to complain that she apparently wasn’t taking good care of her foster dogs.
Kim shared a video explaining that someone called Fulton County Animal Services near Atlanta, Georgia because they were concerned over the treatment of her three foster puppies, Shiloh, Sage, and Stella.
Kim told her fans, “Apparently somebody thought it would be really cute to call the animal control center on my dogs today and say they were not being taken care of. I am utterly f–king disgusted and appalled by the person who did this. Of course we are in the clear because my dogs are very well taken care of. I will no longer be sharing any part of my dogs and their life on my social media any longer.”
She also added that she spends more than $3,000 a month to take care of her three small pups. Of course, many critics aren’t surprised that a fan would call animal control on someone like Kim. The reality television star made headlines earlier this summer after her 4-year-old son Kash was hospitalized after he was bitten in the face by a dog. Kim even shared a photo of Kash and his horrific injuries on her Instagram account.
Kim herself said that she was worried Kash would lose his eyesight after the bite. Thankfully, the little boy managed to make a full recovery but that hasn’t stopped Kim’s critics from worrying about her kids and her dogs. After all, she has four small children under the age of 5 at home. A lot of people are worried that anything can happen at anytime, especially since they’ve already had one accident. But for now, Kim doesn’t seem too concerned as she made it clear to her critics that she has everything under control at home.
So far Kim has not made any additional comments about the controversy. Although knowing Kim, there’s a good chance that she’ll have something to say one social media real soon.
