The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will stir up some serious family conflict. As if there wasn’t enough fighting within the Newman clan, Victoria’s about to get on Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) bad side. Victor (Eric Braeden) won’t make the situation any easier. He’ll give Victoria preferential treatment, so Abby’s anger will undoubtedly erupt.
The trouble will start when Victoria and Victor work out a business deal. Since Brash and Sassy is in such a bind, Victoria will let Victor purchase the company. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that it may take a little work, but they’ll eventually reach an agreement.
However, there’ll be a big problem. As part of this deal, Victoria will be named Newman’s COO. Abby will be muscled out, so Y&R fans can see why this is will cause hostility. Victor will warn that they’ll face some backlash from Abby, but Victoria won’t really care. She’ll feel like Abby will get over it sooner or later.
Victoria will contend that she has more experience and better business instincts. Of course, her recent track record isn’t exactly stellar. She’s bringing Brash and Sassy back to Victor in a state of complete disarray. Victoria’s leadership skills leave a bit to be desired in light of this disaster.
Meanwhile, Abby’s seemingly been doing a good job for Victor. Granted, she’s working on a dating app with a sex ring leader, but the public doesn’t know that yet. Abby and Zack’s (Ryan Ashton) partnership is about to blow up, but their app has done well so far. It’s unfair to demote Abby based on what Victor’s in the loop on right now.
Nevertheless, Victor will move forward with his plans for a devastating blow. Neil (Kristoff St. John) will contribute to the chaos with a startling suggestion. He’ll urge Victor to announce the change at a Newman bash. Vic will throw a party to celebrate the success of the dating app and Neil will think that’s the best time to share the news.
Abby will be blindsided when Victor drops this bomb out of nowhere. She’ll feel deeply betrayed by both her father and sister. Abby will think Victor obviously prefers Victoria over her, so this is going to do major damage.
