The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 9, tease that Sharon (Sharon Case) will get another startling phone call. She’ll rush to meet Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) at a local motel. They’ll try to make their way out of the room, but a thug will quickly stop them. Sharon will cover by suggesting that she’s the client’s husband. She’ll argue that they wanted to have a threesome.
Sharon will do her best to score time alone with Crystal, but the thug won’t approve it. He’ll yank Crystal out of the room and into a car. At the studio, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will fret at her recording session. She’ll struggle to get through a song as she worries about Crystal.
Tessa will keep trying to sneak a glance at her phone, but Devon (Bryton James) will eventually put it away. As Noah (Robert Adamson) reassures Tessa, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will watch them nearby. After the rest of the rotten session, Tessa will realize she missed some calls.
Meanwhile, Abby (Melissa Ordway) will stop by Lily’s (Christel Khalil) place to comfort her. Across town, Zack (Ryan Ashton) will buy Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) vehicle. The news will certainly catch Abby by surprise. A short time later, Lily will discover that Cane paid the twins’ tuition.
Once Lily contacts Cane, he’ll admit that he sold his car to make the payment. Lily will tell Cane goodnight before she hangs up the phone. At the athletic club, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will try to figure out what Juliet’s (Laur Allen) game is. She’ll be stunned when she hears that Lily kicked Cane out.
Hilary will also be perplexed by Juliet’s lack of rage. She’ll wonder why Juliet is giving Cane a pass for getting her fired. Y&R spoilers say Juliet will think the baby makes a difference in this situation. She just can’t be too angry with Cane right now.
Afterward, Hilary will join Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) at the bar. They’ll get into an argument when she invites him to her commercial shoot. Jordan will feel like it’s all part of Hilary’s grand scheme to keep him away from Lily.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Dina (Marla Adams) will get an offer from Jack (Peter Bergman). He’ll point out that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) wants Dina to stay busy. Jack will pitch some new projects to Dina, but she won’t want to be a charity case. However, Jack will manage to win her over with some sweet talk.
At Jabot, Jack will give Ashley and Ravi (Abhi Sinha) updates on Dina’s decision. Ash will just hope that everything goes smoothly. Back with Dina, she’ll try to quiet Graham’s (Max Shippee) concerns about her new gig. Dina will promise Graham that she can handle a few duties and he’ll reluctantly get on board.
