The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that we’ve got some comings and goings news to share. The CBS soap is gearing up for its 45th anniversary later this month, so that means major returns are on the way. Jess Walton has been filming new scenes as Jill, so expect her to get in on some hot drama. Jill always finds a way to stir the pot!
Of course, we should recap some of the other big comebacks. David Scott Lago will return as Raul Guittierez along with Kelly Kruger as Mackenzie “Mac” Browning. Y&R fans will see Lauren Woodland as Brittany Hodges, so J.T.’s (Thad Luckibell) old crew will be back in action. These characters should tie in with J.T.’s shocking exit storyline.
Jaime Lyn Bauer (Lauralee “Lorie” Brooks), Janice Lynde (Leslie Brooks) and Meg Bennett (Julia Newman) will all be part of the anniversary celebration, too. You can catch these characters during the week of March 26-30. Thankfully, Kyle will be back that week as well. He’ll just have a new face!
Michael Mealor will be taking over the role, which was last played by Lachlan Buchanan. After the news broke, Mealor decided to spread the word on social media. He posted a new pic to Instagram and filled Y&R viewers in on his excitement.
Mealor gushed, “It’s official! It has been quite the secret for a few weeks but the announcement has finally been made! I will be playing Kyle Abbott on The Young and the Restless.” It should be nice to have Kyle back in Genoa City. He’ll rejoin the Abbott clan and show us how he’s changed. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle may clash with a few key family members soon enough.
As for what’s coming up in the week ahead, March 5-9, you can catch Carole Ruggier as a social worker who helps Dina (Marla Adams) in London. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will be incredibly grateful. Just to clarify for Y&R fans who all appreciate the truth, Carole Ruggier does NOT play a social worker sent by Christine for Christian despite any published reports claiming otherwise.
At Newman Enterprises, Victor (Eric Braeden) will be prepared for a firing spree. An employee named Taylor (Zachary Ford) will get caught in the chaos, so we’ll see how he fares.
It also looks like Camryn Hamm has wrapped up her stint as Shauna. Naturally, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will continue to serve as her mentor. You never know when Shauna might pop up again. Plus, Abby (Melissa Ordway) will come home on March 8. Welcome back, Abby!
There may be more anniversary return announcements soon, so we’ll give you updates as other Y&R details emerge. Are you looking forward to all the fun? Stay tuned to the CBS soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news.
