The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that several Genoa City residents will face bombshells. During the week of December 31-January 4, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Dr. Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell) will grow fearful. Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) goon, George, will be more concerned about pulling off the plot than keeping Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) alive.
George will pull a gun on Nick and Nate at one point, but they’ll manage to stay free of bullet holes. Later, Nick and Victor will spar over what’s best for Nikki. As you might expect, Nick will lose the battle. He’ll bid his parents farewell and let them board their flight, but Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will track Nick’s location. That’ll lead to Victor’s stunning arrest!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will charge Victor with the murder of J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill). Nikki will deal with an immediate flood of guilt. She’ll tell Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that it’s time to make a confession. Nikki will hate the idea of Victor taking the fall for something she did.
Reed Hellstrom’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) admission will also cause drama. He’ll tell his mom about his role in the hit-and-run as well as the car he was driving. Victoria will confront Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) about Charlie Ashby’s (Noah Alexander Gerry) actions and start a shouting match. After it ends in a kiss, they’ll swear each other to secrecy.
However, Cane will still end up opening up to Jill Atkinson (Jess Walton) about it. She’ll advise Cane to lock that info up tight and never reveal it to anyone else. Jill won’t see the need since Cane will be adamant that he still wants Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil). Unfortunately, Lily’s prison problems are only going to get worse. Y&R fans can expect more marriage troubles for “Lane” as time goes on.
After Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) shares a New Year’s Eve kiss with Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin (Zach Tinker), it’ll bring jealousy from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). The Young and the Restless spoilers say Fen and Kyle will fight over Lola, but she’ll put a stop to it. Lola will make it clear that she doesn’t belong to anyone, so they really need to back off.
Nevertheless, Kyle will work hard to win Lola back. While he ponders how to do that, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will infuriate Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). The GC Buzz host will do something that rubs Abby the wrong way, so a fun showdown’s coming up.
Back with Victor and Nick, they’ll reach an agreement. Perhaps they’ll agree that protecting their other family members is what’s important – no matter what revelations may come.
During the week of January 7-11, Victor and Nikki will settle a matter as well. Maybe Victor will convince Nikki that he’s the one who should take the fall. He may think the evidence against him won’t result in a conviction.
Over with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), she’ll land in a tight spot. A compromising situation may lead to some awkward moments. Will Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzales) think Sharon and Rey are moving into dangerous territory?
Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) could definitely be headed there, too. He’ll be tempted by something – or someone. Mia might retaliate if she thinks Rey has crossed the line.
Finally, Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) will make a bold move. She’ll shock Nick and possibly the cover-up crew as well, so the J.T. saga will bring even more twists and turns.
