The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that some shockers are brewing in Genoa City. The CBS soap is gearing up for May sweeps, so we’ve got a hot preview for you. Here’s a sneak peek of all the action happening next month.
For starters, let’s talk about Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni). If you thought life could keep Phyllis down, you thought wrong. When it comes to Phyllis, there’s always another scheme or project brewing. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will come with a brilliant new business venture. She’ll think she’s on the verge of something big, but it could cause some friction with a friend.
Once Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) gets updates, she’ll realize Phyllis’ plan could hurt Fenmore’s. It seems whatever Phyllis has in mind could be in direct competition with Lauren’s company. Meanwhile, Phyllis’ daughter will remain awfully determined as well. Summer Abbott (Hunter King) will refuse to give up on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and the life they could have together.
Despite Kyle’s decision to break things off with Summer and reunite with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), Summer won’t quit stirring the pot. She’ll pull some extreme stunts to make sure Kyle is her man once again. Lola will be all tied up with her chef position at Society, so that could leave Kyle as Summer’s vulnerable prey…
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will try to focus on work, but it’ll be tough when handsome Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) keeps catching her eye. Over with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), they’ll deal with more of Mia Rosales’ (Noemi Gonzalez) mayhem. However, “Shey” will manage to keep love alive for now.
Y&R fans can also expect the paternity reveal during May sweeps. We’ll soon know whether Mia’s got Rey’s bun in the oven or Arturo Rosales’ (Jason Canela). Next, Rey will learn an explosive secret and share it with Sharon.
Since Rey’s going to investigate Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) shady activities for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), that should be what this is about.
Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) survival may be the bombshell Rey uncovers, so his return is just around the corner, too. Over with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), her music career will thrive again with Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) unwavering support. Unfortunately, Mariah will be a bit too hands-on for Ana Hamilton’s (Loren Lott) taste.
Ana will push Mariah to back off and let Tessa do her thing, so Tessa should end up caught in the middle of the conflict. Finally, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will struggle to cope after Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) death.
After losing Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan), his unborn child and Neil in such a short amount of time, Devon will find himself feeling lost and discouraged. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will comfort Devon when he needs her most, but he’ll have to decide if he’s really ready for romance just yet.
