Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) could have a big surprise coming on the horizon. As viewers know, Ava and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) recently had a talk at Statesville about the circumstances under which Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) was born.
Specifically, Ava reminisced about how her father held her captive and drugged her, then tore Tripp away from her right after he was born.
It’s a horrible story, and it resulted in Ava and Tripp not knowing each other until now. But we suspect that there could be much more to Ava’s story that even she doesn’t know.
If in fact Ava was drugged by her father and has only fuzzy memories of Tripp’s birth, then who knows what else could have happened around that time.
Well, we suspect that Ava’s situation could have been far different than the story she tells about Tripp being taken from her. Might Ava have given birth to twins on the day of Tripp’s birth, and there’s another one of Ava and Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) children out there?
It seems pretty far-fetched on the surface, but there happens to be a real situation with respect to Henry Horton (Kinsley and Jayna Fox), who shares DNA with Tripp even though Tripp insists that he didn’t ever touch Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).
Assuming that Tripp is telling the truth about that, then there’s only one other explanation as to how he and Henry could share DNA – someone closely related to him must be Henry’s father and therefore Allie’s attacker.
Tripp might have an identical twin, or a fraternal twin who would share enough of his DNA to explain the presumed match between Henry and Tripp.
And if it turns out to be an identical twin, then that would explain Allie’s insistence that Tripp was the man who assaulted her, since he’d look just like Tripp and share Tripp’s DNA!
It will be interesting to see how this story plays out, but we suspect that there could be a twin explanation underlying the whole situation. Of course, it would still need to be explained by DOOL just how Tripp and his twin both ended up in Allie’s apartment on the evening of the attack.
It could be that Tripp’s twin was following Tripp and happened to follow him and Allie back to Allie’s apartment, and then when Tripp took off, the twin took over!
We’ll see if this all comes to fruition, and there are a lot of dots to connect here, but a twin would certainly explain a lot of things – and it would make both Tripp and Allie “right” in a sense about her attack. It would also surely lead to Tripp’s exoneration among his family and friends.
