The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, December 21, teases that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will find an alternative way to cope with his guilt. B&B fans know Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) has been going on and on about Liam being a man of integrity.
Hope feels like their marriage is strong and trusts that Liam will always be loyal.
Liam doesn’t believe he deserves all this praise – and he’s right since he recently betrayed Hope with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Although part of Liam will want to confess the whole ugly story, he’ll keep the promise he made to Steffy and remain tight-lipped.
Instead of coming clean, Liam will make a different promise to Hope – one about being the kind of husband she deserves. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will vow to be a good man and treat Hope right. He’ll fully intend to do that moving forward, but he can’t escape the big mistake he recently made.
Hope will stay in the dark on the hookup, but she might reflect on feeling like a runner-up to Steffy in the past. Liam should feel terrible if Hope thinks back on fearing Steffy would always come between them.
Hope may argue that things are different now, which could leave Liam even more fearful about the possibility that the truth might leak.
Other Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will remain deeply emotional as he opens up to Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). Brooke has been supporting Ridge, who can’t bear the thought of losing another child.
It was tough for Ridge to lose Phoebe Forrester (MacKenzie Mauzy) – and he feared he might lose Steffy after her motorcycle crash, too. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was forced to fight for his life recently, so Ridge is struggling over how close his son came to death.
The stress of everything that’s happened will weigh on Ridge, so B&B fans will see more tears and fears.
However, Brooke will push Ridge to count his blessings and look to the future. She’ll have a good feeling about where things are headed, so Ridge’s spirits should be lifted.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will appreciate having Brooke to talk him down and keep him focused on the right things.
Unfortunately, some strife is in store for Ridge and Brooke down the road. Once the news of Steffy and Liam’s betrayal gets out, it’ll take a toll on “Bridge’s” marriage as they pick sides. We’ll fill you in as other B&B updates emerge.
