The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 11, reveal that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) canoodled at the Forrester mansion ahead of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) wedding. Ridge was certain that they’d be able to move on with their lives after today. Brooke was skeptical, but she said that she wanted that, too.
Meanwhile, upstairs in Thomas’ room, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) looked downcast as Thomas went on about how Zoe would make a great new mom for him, but that “it’s ain’t over till it’s over.” He told Douglas that there was still time for him to convince Hope to stop the wedding and be with them instead.
And over in another bedroom, Zoe got ready with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Zoe thanked Steffy for being her last-minute maid of honor, and Steffy noted that a lot of people have had a hard time believing that Thomas was over Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Zoe said she did at first, too, but when Thomas wants something, he makes it happen. Steffy remarked that Hope was the exception to that.
At Hope’s cabin, she and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) prepared to leave for the wedding, with Hope noting that Thomas has had this coming for a long time. Liam asked if she was sure that she wanted to do things this way, and Hope smiled and said, “we can do this,” as they left.
Back in the Forrester living room, Eric Forrester (John McCook), Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer), Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), Ridge, and Brooke made small talk. Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) waked in and greeted everyone, asking how “he” was holding up. Brooke wondered if he meant Thomas or Douglas. Vinny then went upstairs to check on Thomas.
There, he found Thomas telling Douglas to do whatever he could to convince Hope to marry him instead. Thomas promptly sent Douglas downstairs to find Hope, and Vinny started in on Thomas, wondering if he really wanted to go through with this wedding, given that he loved Hope. Vinny thought he should call the whole thing off, irritating Thomas. Thomas went on about how he kept having visions of Hope walking down the aisle in the dress he made for her.
Vinny again said that Thomas could call it off before it’s too late. Ridge walked in right at that moment and wondered what Vinny was talking about. Vinny covered, and Ridge told Thomas that he was proud of him and that “everyone is about to see that I was right about you all along.” The men hugged.
Back down in the living room, Hope and Liam arrived, with Brooke happy to see that they drove there together. She wondered what was going on, and Hope told her that a lot has happened and that this wasn’t the right time to talk about it, but that today should be full of surprises. Brooke looked thrilled. Meanwhile, Carter looked down as Ridge told Eric and Quinn that Zoe had made a big difference in Thomas’ life.
Soon, Douglas came downstairs and greeted everyone. He seemed downtrodden, so Hope talked with him and told him that everything would be ok and that it would all work out in the end. They hugged, with Douglas still looking miffed about the wedding. Hope then regrouped with Brooke and Liam and told Brooke that they needed to let things play out today, and that this wedding would allow everyone to see the man that Thomas really is.
Hope then joined Steffy and Zoe upstairs. Steffy asked if any of Zoe’s family knew about the nuptials, and she said no. Zoe noted that she knew people were still questioning Thomas’ feelings for her, but that soon they’d see the truth. Douglas came in the room and told Hope that he needed to talk with her – it was important.
Now alone, Zoe looked at a photo of Thomas on her phone, then Brooke entered the room. Zoe tried to get rid of her, but Brooke persisted, noting that Thomas had designed her gown, but that he had also designed a gown for Hope. Brooke said that she couldn’t keep quiet and that Thomas was still obsessed with Hope and that he couldn’t be trusted. Zoe looked unhappy.
Meanwhile, Thomas went downstairs and snarked for a moment with Liam, then asked Steffy who Liam came to the wedding with. Steffy deflected the question, and Thomas wondered where Hope and Douglas were. Quinn piped up that they were up in Thomas’ bedroom, and Thomas headed up there as Liam and Steffy shared a look.
Upstairs, Hope told Douglas that he deserved to be happy and carefree, and that’s why she was doing what she was doing today – so that he could live the life he deserved. Tomas eavesdropped as she said that she’d do whatever she could today to ensure that she’ll always be a mother to him. Ridge then tapped Thomas on the shoulder and told him that it was time to come downstairs and marry the woman of his dreams.
