Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that the show’s building toward an adorable new couple, so we should talk about their past, present and future. DOOL fans know Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) got off to a rocky start when they first crossed paths in Salem.
Allie accused Tripp of assaulting her and even threatened to shoot him down south to make sure he didn’t do it to anyone else. However, Tripp did his best to be patient with Allie and worked to convince her he was innocent.
Thanks to Allie’s hypnosis, she finally remembered Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) was the real rape culprit – and that Tripp was the perfect gentleman that night in London.
Speaking of that night in London, that’s important to keep in mind. Tripp was so attracted to Allie that he asked her to dance again, even after being rejected. Although Tripp wasn’t really the type Allie usually went for, there was something about him that eventually drew her in.
Allie and Tripp’s initial chemistry is coming back into play now that they’re bonding over Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox).
It’s easy to see the makings of a sweet romance since Tripp’s helping out with Henry more and Allie’s trying to include Grandma Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) in Henry’s life.
Allie seems to be falling for Tripp and trusts him despite her previous allegations. Based on Allie’s true memories and experience with Tripp, she can tell he’s a genuinely good guy. Likewise, there are no hard feelings on Tripp’s end.
Tripp clearly admires Allie for overcoming so much and coming out of all this as such a great mom.
Of course, the next step here is for Days to take Tripp and Allie into romantic territory, but that could get tricky. Tripp would never want Allie to feel like he was being pushy or violating her in any way. It’s crucial for Tripp and the show itself to be sensitive about how they handle things.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie still has Charlie trauma to work through, but she can cope and find a way toward with Tripp by her side. However, it seems like it’ll be up to Allie to make the first move.
It’s possible Tripp could get honest about his feelings for Allie first, but Allie seems to be falling harder and faster.
There’ll be some opportunities for Tripp and Allie to grow even closer thanks to DOOL’s latest murder mystery. Allie and Tripp should both have their time in the spotlight as far as suspects go.
Tripp and Allie could become confidants for each other as the whodunit heats up, so we’ll see just how close they get in the coming weeks.
Will Allie ultimately initiate a kiss? It wouldn’t be Tripp and Allie’s first kiss since Allie planted a drunken one in London, but perhaps her first sober lip lock with Tripp is ahead.
There are several couples with steamy chemistry on canvas, but there’s a certain appeal to cute couples as well. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie and Tripp could become the reigning champs of cuteness once their love really blooms!
