The trouble will start when Julie lands in a tight spot – and it looks like it’ll happen at Julie’s Place.
There’ll be some situation where Jack has to come to trapped Julie’s rescue, so she’ll be pretty rattled in the aftermath.
Jack will try to make sense of what happened to Julie, but the explanation may involve Doug inadvertently locking Julie somewhere or something along those lines. Whatever the case, Days spoilers say Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) will develop some concerns as well.
From where Roman’s standing, Doug just won’t be acting like himself.
There’ll be some unsettling signs of potential mental deterioration – and the fact that Doug will be missing will make things even more worrisome.
Days spoilers say Jack and Julie will team up as they go on the hunt for Doug.
However, Julie will be in denial about how dangerous the situation is. She won’t want to believe Doug’s mental state is declining or that anything is seriously wrong.
Jack, on the other hand, may feel like they have some good reasons to fret.
There’s no word yet on where this storyline is going, but it’s possible DOOL intends to write in an Alzheimer’s diagnosis or some other condition that’d explain Doug’s behavior.
Regardless, Days spoilers state that Julie will hope to find Doug, reunite with him and get a firm explanation.
Julie and Doug have a special bond, so this sense of disconnect will be something disbelieving Julie wants to work through and move past ASAP.
There’s a chance this really is some big misunderstanding and won’t be as devastating as it seems to be.
Nevertheless, we should prepare for the possibility that Doug’s mental state is indeed declining and could lead to him being written out of the show at the end of a tragic arc.
