Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, May 18, recap reveals that Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) busted Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) while Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) interrupted Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams).
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) also suspected Nicole Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) secret after overhearing more than he should!
In the DiMera cellar on Tuesday’s Days episode, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) finished getting dressed following another hookup with Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney), who couldn’t believe they cheated again.
Sami ranted about it being Lucas’ fault, but he kept pushing until she admitted that she wanted it to happen just as much as he did.
Lucas got distracted and confessed he was worried about Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow). Sami recalled hearing about a potential way out of the DiMera secret room, so she wanted to get up on Lucas’ shoulders and look for it.
Lucas was hesitant since he didn’t think he could lift Sami, which offended her.
However, Sami convinced Lucas to hoist her up and shimmy her around to find a passageway that might lead them out of there. Just when Sami thought she was on the right track, part of the ceiling crumbled all over her and sent her flying off Lucas’ shoulders.
Once Lucas and Sami were both on the floor, Lucas wondered whose fault that was!
At Nicole’s apartment on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Tripp filled Allie in on Kate’s dire condition. Allie was concerned, but Tripp pointed out that Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) wanted to keep visitors to a minimum right now.
Tripp suggested he could wait with Allie and wanted to talk about that kiss they shared. Since Allie left in a hurry, Tripp worried maybe she wasn’t into it as much as he was. Allie smiled and said there was only one way to find out.
Tripp and Allie were just about to kiss again when Chanel knocked on the door and interrupted. Chanel suggested she just wanted to clear the air after that kiss and make sure they were cool.
When Chanel learned Allie’s grandmother was in the hospital, she gave her a hug and gave Tripp a glare.
Allie went in the other room to check on Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox), so that gave Chanel a chance to talk to Tripp. Chanel wanted Tripp to know that she was a friend to Allie and nothing more. She had no intention of trying to come between Tripp and Allie.
Chanel and Tripp decided that it’d be weird if they both stayed, so Chanel told Allie she had to bounce as soon as Allie returned.
Allie wondered if Tripp said something to Chanel or told her to leave. Tripp promised he didn’t, but he admitted he was glad Chanel was gone. He selfishly wanted to be alone with Allie, so she guessed they could get back to what they were doing earlier and kissed Tripp passionately.
At Lani and Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) apartment, Eli explained that Kristen was on the loose again and in big trouble. Lani reeled over Kristen not only breaking out of prison again – but assaulting Kate and landing her in the hospital!
Lani assured Eli that she would’ve told him if Kristen had been in touch, so he insisted there was no doubt in his mind.
The twins were headed for a sleepover with Abe Carver (James Reynolds), so Lani loaded them up in the stroller and Eli dashed off to take a shower. Once Eli was wearing only a towel, he walked into the kitchen and reached for something above the refrigerator.
Eli’s towel dropped as Chanel appeared in the doorway, so she gasped and grinned over the sight of him naked.
In Xander’s hotel suite, Kristen hid in the bathroom while Nicole entered to retrieve her wedding ring from the nightstand. Nicole ranted about their night together as Kristen listened in and learned the secret.
One of the phones Kristen was holding onto rang, so Nicole worried Xander had someone in there with him.
Xander insisted he left his own phone in the bathroom, and Nicole wanted to get out of there too much to push the issue any further. She pushed Xander to keep his mouth shut, but he suggested he’d think about it.
After Nicole was gone, Kristen stepped out of the bathroom and guessed that Nicole wanted something a little naughtier than Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Xander wasn’t concerned about any secret spillage, but the hotel manager arrived as he tried to throw Kristen out.
Since Xander owed thousands of dollars and had to pay by the end of the day, Kristen handed over a stack of bills and insisted there was plenty more where that came from. She just needed Xander to take her deadly deal.
At the DiMera mansion, Rafe looked for Lucas while Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) tagged along to look for Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) phone. Xander showed up while Rafe and Gabi were there, but he covered by insisting he was hoping to talk to Jake about a job at DiMera Enterprises.
Gabi didn’t think Xander had any hope of getting hired by Jake and sent him on his way. Xander hid out of sight until the coast was clear and made his way down to the DiMera cellar.
Sami and Lucas thought they were saved, but Xander confessed that he had other plans for them and pulled out a gun.
At Rafe’s place on Tuesday’s Days episode, Nicole showed up and admitted to Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) that she got bad news from Eric, who extended his time away. Nicole came clean about cheating, but she told Ava that who she slept with wasn’t important.
Nicole worried she couldn’t undo this and feared it had ruined her life, but Ava argued that everyone makes mistakes.
After Nicole explained the cover story she told Rafe, she hated the idea of him finding out she was actually doing the walk of shame. Ava promised Nicole’s secret was safe right as Rafe walked in, so he wondered what the secret was.
Nevertheless, Ava told Rafe that it had nothing to do with him and assured him that Nicole would be all right.
After Kristen listened to a voicemail on Lucas’ phone, she found out that Kate was in the ICU and in a medically induced coma. Kristen also found out the cops believed she attacked Kate.
She donned her Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) disguise again and tried to put on her usual Susan act when Lani spotted her in the park.
“Save it, Kristen,” Lani said. “I know it’s you. I know everything.” As other Days details emerge, we’ll bring you more updates. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani and Kristen will argue about the latter’s next move, so stay tuned for another round of DOOL drama!
