Days of Our Lives Spoilers Update: Monday, April 19 – Jan’s Murder Frame Job, Belle Locked Up – Claire Learns Allie’s Secret

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, April 19, teases that DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will waste no time in demanding Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) arrest. Belle is missing a button off her red coat – and the same one was found at the scene of the crime.

As a result, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will push Belle to tell him how her coat button wound up on the floor next to Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) dead body. However, Belle will struggle to explain since she wasn’t anywhere near Charlie’s apartment.

Belle will assure Rafe that she’s innocent, but Trask won’t buy it when she gets updates on this whole situation. Trask will think it’s easy to see Belle’s the guilty party, so she’ll push Rafe to lock her up!

Belle will have a tough fight on her hands as she works to prove her claims. She’ll settle on the idea that someone might’ve framed her, so she’ll suspect Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) might be behind the setup.

As for John Black (Drake Hogestyn), he’ll reel over what he thinks he remembers. Thanks to hypnosis, John was able to recall the moment Charlie got shot. John will talk to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) about the jaw-dropping memory flood he just faced.

He’ll freak over his own daughter blowing Charlie away in cold blood, but John’s making too many assumptions.

Days of Our Lives spoilers confirm that Belle did NOT kill Charlie! This was indeed a setup, but Sami isn’t the person responsible. That means the real killer has to check a few crucial boxes.

It has to be someone who a) wanted Charlie dead, b) would actually commit the murder, c) would want to frame Belle and d) wouldn’t have a problem with any of the previous suspects taking heat.

Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) checks each box since she flat-out admitted Charlie didn’t deserve to live and has no problem killing people. She’d certainly like to watch Belle land in prison over this, but she doesn’t mind that so many others have landed on the hot seat either.

Jan was practically patting herself on the back over this murder during her conversation with Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) on Friday. We know Jan can be a slippery character, so it’s not a stretch to think she woke up and slipped out of the hospital undetected at the time of Charlie’s death.

Jan seemingly swiped Belle’s coat to use when she shot Charlie and left the button behind. Then, Jan apparently faked her remaining time in a coma and gave herself an airtight alibi.

Days spoilers state that a big reveal is happening on Monday, April 19. That’s when DOOL fans will learn the true identity of Charlie’s killer, so it seems likely we’ll see Jan kill Charlie in an exciting flashback. A twist is always a possibility, but all the clues are pointing to Jan right now.

Over with Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), he’ll stun Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) by admitting he’s made a big change.

Tripp doesn’t have great memories when it comes to his adoptive parents, so there’s really no reason to keep using the last name of Dalton. He’ll confess he’s now Tripp Johnson since he legally changed his name.

Tripp will hope this shows Steve and Kayla how much they mean to him, and they’ll let Tripp know he means just as much. While the Johnson family celebrates this exciting news, Claire will have a startling realization – one that involves the secret of what’s in Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) heart.

Allie obviously likes Tripp as more than a friend or an uncle to her son. Claire will pick up on the vibe and perhaps give Allie a nudge toward a real romance. She probably won’t see why Tripp and Allie shouldn’t surrender to their feelings since they’re both clearly into each other.

Even so, Allie may drag her feet since she was so hard on Tripp when she wrongfully accused him. Now that they’re true friends, Allie might think it’s best to keep things the way they are. Claire may disagree and point out that Tripp liked Allie from the first night they met.

Since Tripp recently suggested a clean slate, Claire may suggest that’s Allie’s cue to make a romantic play for the man she wants. Upcoming Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that may be Tripp who makes the first move – or at least tries to.

Unfortunately, Tripp may delay his efforts a little too long! He’ll soon find he’s got some competition for Allie’s heart, so this situation will get more complicated down the road. As other Days details emerge, we’ll keep you in the loop.
