Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, December 22, tease that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will sneak out after Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) shares his Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) snatching story. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will also deliver some orders to Jan Spears (Heather Lindell), so let’s talk about what’s coming up on Wednesday’s DOOL episode.
In Kate Roberts’ (Lauren Koslow) room, Lucas will tell Philip how he pulled off Sami’s kidnapping. Now that Lucas has admitted he was behind the abduction, he’ll spill all the horrible details – including how he chloroformed Sami outside the Hernandez house.
Philip is perhaps the one person who can truly understand since he just framed Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) for his own murder. He gets that things can get crazy when love is involved, so he won’t hold Lucas’ actions against him.
As for Kate, Days spoilers say she’ll come home and realize Philip opened the door to Lucas. Part of Kate may worry about the secret spreading, but it would’ve been cruel to let Lucas keep thinking Philip was dead.
Kate may not blame Philip for telling Lucas the truth, but she’ll want to make sure they’re all on the same page about hiding Philip.
Unfortunately, Philip will end up sneaking out using his hoodie to conceal his identity. Perhaps Philip will want to speak with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) in person and explain how he snapped.
Regardless, Kate will end up distracting Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) with a steamy kiss as Philip walks by. She’ll have to tell a mountain of lies to cover up what Philip’s done, but she’ll keep hoping she can fix Philip’s latest blunder and get him some help.
Other Days spoilers say Marlena and Jan will do some plotting in a suite at the Salem Inn. That’ll be the perfect location for the trap Marlena’s about to set with Jan’s assistance.
Christmas Eve is Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) anniversary, so it’ll be easy to lure Shawn to the hotel under the guise of a sizzling celebration.
Possessed Marlena will make sure Jan’s got her instructions and will promise to take care of the rest.
It won’t be long until the devil makes Jan look identical to Belle, so she’ll be able to fool Shawn – though there’ll inevitably be some hurdles to tackle along the way.
While Marlena and Jan discuss their next move, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) will stand up to their parents.
Chanel and Johnny got married in Rome, but that bombshell didn’t go over well based on the shocked looks at the DiMera mansion.
Sami, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will all voice their disapproval since this union happened so fast.
There’ll be some annulment talk, but Johnny will shut that down and push for acceptance.
Johnny will refuse to let EJ and Sami shame them for doing what they felt was right – and Chanel will defend her decision to Paulina, too. In a moment alone, Chanel will admire the ring Johnny gave her as they celebrate their love.
Later, EJ will taunt Sami with the new divorce papers before dropping a bomb of his own. He’ll change his mind and let his heart guide him, so that’ll bring an emotional reunion for Sami and EJ as Christmas approaches.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lucas is on the verge of causing more drama for EJ and Sami, so they’d better buckle up for the rocky road ahead!
