General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, June 4 Recap – Cyrus Shoots Curtis, Arrested – Jason Set Free – Britt Tells Obrecht All

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, June 4, reveals that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) shot Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), so Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) fired back. Meanwhile, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) walked free – and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) confessed to Liesl Obrecht (Kelly Thiebaud)

At GH, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) cautiously came out of her room and headed toward Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who was holding “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Scarlett and Harper Bloom).

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) appeared and was overjoyed to take his “daughter” in his arms for the first time.

Maxie seemingly fainted as Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) held her up and made sure she got back to her room.

Finn assured Maxie that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) wouldn’t be coming around to brother her again, but Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) pulled Finn aside to remind him not to say anything about Peter’s death.

Finn didn’t think Maxie would go to the cops, but Liz still felt they had to leave her out of the loop. In the end, Finn decided it was best to avoid making Maxie an accomplice anyway.

Back with Maxie, she told Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) the story of the crazy nurse taking her baby.

After “Bailey” was checked out, Valentin thought Brook Lynn should be examined as well. Brook Lynn put it off until tomorrow and wanted to get Bailey home.

Brook Lynn was uneasy when she ran into Austin (Roger Howarth), who needed directions and eventually stared at the “Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries” sign.

At the Quartermaine mansion, an ecstatic Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) held little Bailey in her arms. Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) was also there since he’d been talking to Olivia about all the milestones Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was missing in her grandson’s life.

Jax found out about the baby’s birth and congratulated Valentin with a handshake before he left.

Brook Lynn could see how much Valentin adored “Bailey” and thought she couldn’t have picked a better father. Valentin agreed that they’d do right by their little girl and give her a good life.

Meanwhile, Michael took Willow back to the gatehouse and wanted to make sure she was OK. He knew Willow might’ve been reminded of some painful memories, so Willow reflected on losing her biological child.

However, Willow adored Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) and had so much to be grateful for. That included Michael, who was eager to make love to Willow.

They stripped down and got passionate as someone spied them through the window.

Back with Austin, he paid Maxie a visit and wished he’d regained consciousness sooner so that she’d have her baby right now. Austin revealed that he was going to be part of the search party and insisted Louise would be found.

Maxie muttered under her breath about that being what she was afraid of.

At Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) house, Cyrus ranted about how all he’d wanted was a relationship with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) as her brother.

Laura argued that Cyrus wasn’t the tiniest bit sorry for all the horrible things he’d done. She thought it was unreasonable for Cyrus to expect a sibling bond while he “torched the rest of the damn world.”

That said, Laura argued that there was still hope for redemption if Cyrus would turn himself in. If Cyrus did that, Laura vowed to stand by him.

Cyrus felt like everyone was just stalling until a sniper could take a hit at him. He paced around and insisted that he couldn’t go back to prison.

Curtis could tell things were getting out of hand, so he got Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) to fill him in on the layout of the house. Trina directed Curtis to a window that was closed but not locked, so Curtis used it to sneak inside.

Unfortunately, Cyrus realized Curtis was there before Curtis could make his move. After Cyrus forced Curtis to slide his gun over on the floor, he pumped a bullet in him.

Wounded Curtis fell to the floor before Jordan Ashford burst in and shot Cyrus in the leg.

Jordan was frantic as she tried to get Curtis to wake up. She pushed Portia to save Curtis – and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) admitted Curtis’ pulse was getting weaker.

Cyrus was going to be fine, but Portia wasn’t as certain about Curtis as she explained at GH later. Curtis needed surgery and it was going to be a lengthy process.

In lockup, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) came to see Jason, who praised her for how she handled things with the five families.

Jason also found out Carly’s opinion of Britt had shifted somewhat – and later, Jason was told he was free to go by the guard. Carly received a text as they left that led them to the hospital.

In Canada, Britt was pleasantly surprised when Liesl showed up. Obrecht revealed that “Mr. Morgan” got in touch with her. She wanted all the juicy details on Britt and Jason’s romance, which Britt tried to downplay.

Liesl pushed Britt to admit she slept with Jason, so Britt came clean and acknowledged that it was amazing.

When Britt blamed their passion on the situation they were in, Liesl guessed Jason was no one to plan a future with.

Britt didn’t agree with that and pointed out that they saved each other’s lives. She also confessed Jason got her to face something she’d been avoiding for years.

Britt was sorry for lying about getting tested for Huntington’s before. she admitted she didn’t have it done until recently.

Liesl was heartbroken over the news that Britt had the genetic marker and blamed herself for making Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) Britt’s father.

Britt was touched as Liesl talked about how she was everything she ever wanted in a daughter. They came together in a touching moment despite the difficult health updates.

Jason ultimately called Britt to tell her that he’d been released and that Cyrus had been taken into custody.

Britt was grateful that Jason had called her mom, so he admitted he didn’t want her to be alone. Jason let Britt know it was safe to come home – and Carly gave Cyrus a smug smile through the window of his hospital room.

As for Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews), he praised Jordan for the work she did to bring Cyrus down.
