General Hospital Spoilers Next 2 Weeks: Drew Comforts Carly – Sonny Fights for Love – Sasha Pushes Brando Away

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks, December 27 to January 7, tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may comfort Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) fights for love. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will also come home while Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) pushes Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) away, so here’s what to expect.

During the week of December 27-31, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will take the next step in his investigation of Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett). He’ll get a new angle to work thanks to Drew’s suggestion, but he’ll still find himself missing some puzzle pieces.

Curtis will talk to Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and leave her nervous as he wonders what else he’s been left out of the loop on.

Stella will wind up confiding in Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), so we’ll see if she admits her own Marshall-related secrets or keeps her troubles vague instead.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will cancel on Cameron Webber (William Lipton) after an encounter with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), so Cam may feel a bit snubbed.

That’s certainly a situation that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) could spin to her advantage if she plays her cards right.

Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) preliminary hearing will blow up thanks to the questions Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is forced to answer on the stand.

Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will make certain the judge knows Nina and Sonny were in love back in Nixon Falls, so that’ll be a game-changer in this case.

In the aftermath of this courtroom chaos, Sonny will beg Carly for a chance to explain. Carly may hear Sonny out, but it won’t do much to ease her anger over the depth of Nina’s deception.

Carly won’t be too happy about Sonny’s secrets either, so he’ll be in the doghouse for a while.

Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) is officially on the autism spectrum, so Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will find that out based on the specialist’s evaluation.

There’ll be some emotional moments where Ned and Olivia come together to focus on what’s best for Leo and his future.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will battle complex feelings for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and will grow increasingly attached to “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) as well.

Over with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), she’ll surprise Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) with something special.

Britt will get a Christmas present a little late, but it’ll soon be time for New Year’s Eve in Port Charles. The Savoy will be the big hotspot this year, so don’t miss all the partying and the inevitable shockers.

GH will be preempted on Friday, December 31, but there’ll be more new episodes to check out during the week of January 3-7. That’s when Carly will lean on Drew as she deals with issues in her marriage.

Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will also face issues in their relationship in the aftermath of Nina’s pretrial mayhem.

As for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she’ll hope for a new beginning in the new year, but she’ll need another permanent end to make that happen – namely the death of Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

Maxie won’t get her wish just yet, but Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) might be tempted to take Peter out when he pops in the hospital and checks on the problematic patient.

After Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) gives Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) a reality check for her own good, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will have his own words of wisdom.

Even so, Alexis will deal with some insecurities as she prepares to go back to college and start a new chapter.

Brook Lynn will have to wiggle out of some tight spots as Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) suspicions about “Bailey” grow.

Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will also be back on the scene, so look for her to fret along with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about Maxie.

Brando will have concerns over his own when Sasha pushes him away.

Sasha will think she knows best when it comes to dealing with her grief over the loss of Liam Corbin. Brando will feel helpless, but he’ll get a pep talk and some comfort from Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).

Some news that’s both shocking and crushing will strike Port Charles next. It should coincide with Tracy’s return to town, which will lead to plenty of questions and conflict.

Alexis and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will end up confronting a visitor they weren’t expecting, so it may be Tracy who causes all the chaos.

As for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he’ll give Sonny some support while Phyllis Caufield (Joyce Guy) warns Nina.

Phyllis may urge Nina not to use Sonny’s marital problems as an opening for a reunion. She’ll probably push Nina to keep her distance and let Sonny work things out with Carly.

That’ll be easier said than done, but Sonny will at least have an in-depth conversation with Carly about their fragile relationship.

Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) has some big episodes ahead since he’ll gear up for his official first date with Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).

Chase will also let Finn meet “Bailey,” so that’ll bring some special moments that perhaps add to the good detective’s guilt over his deception.
