The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 4, reveals that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) thought back on her shame over her worst ever betrayal – and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) suggested some paper trail proof.
In their hotel room on Thursday’s B&B episode, Sheila assured Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) that if he played along, there’d be no doubts about their romance.
Sheila had a plan to provide evidence and asked what could be more convincing than a paper trail.
Deacon argued that he never wrote Sheila when he was in prison, but she countered that he wrote to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) over and over.
Hope was the only one who responded while the other letters were returned.
Sheila argued that she could use those unopened letters as templates and use them as the key to creating the perfect narrative. She thought she could come up with a love story so compelling that no one would ever doubt their relationship.
Deacon worried about the con job and thought there’d be a lot of ways to slip up, but Sheila felt he should just follow her lead. She felt John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was her last shot at being a mother since her other children wouldn’t have anything to do with her.
Sheila said Finn was her future just like Hope was Deacon’s future. She thought they could be in their children’s lives if they just stuck to the plan.
At home, Brooke refused to buy that Sheila and Deacon were romantically involved.
Hope didn’t want to believe Deacon would lie to her about that, but Brooke felt her daughter was setting herself up for disappointment. She acted like that was why she wanted Hope to steer clear of Deacon.
Hope countered that Brooke had steered her away from Deacon for most of her life. She wanted to know why Brooke was so dead-set against the idea of her getting to know her father.
Hope felt there was more to this, so Brooke wouldn’t deny that her history with Deacon was painful.
Brooke admitted to being filled with shame over her past since sleeping with her daughter’s husband was the worst betrayal of her life.
That said, Brooke made it clear that Hope wasn’t a mistake and that she was so grateful to have her.
Hope had to imagine Brooke saw some goodness in Deacon or else she wouldn’t exist.
Brooke had flashbacks of her time with Deacon and reflected on Deacon’s happiness when she told him she was pregnant.
Since there were still some good qualities, Hope didn’t understand why she couldn’t see Deacon. She felt she’d been kept separate from Deacon her entire life and didn’t think she deserved that.
Hope knew she might be let down, but she wanted to learn her own hard lesson if that was the case. She asked if Brooke was really going to rob her of her own father.
At the Forrester mansion, Eric Forrester (John McCook) came home and revealed that he’d done what Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) asked of him. Quinn didn’t think her request was out of bounds under the circumstances.
Quinn was sorry Eric felt drained and promised she wasn’t getting any joy out of this.
However, Eric thought forcing Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) out of the company was a total overreaction. Quinn disagreed and felt Donna had crossed the line.
Since Donna believed she belonged with Eric, Quinn said that’s why she had to go. She appreciated Eric for putting their marriage first, but he seemed uneasy as they embraced.
At Forrester Creations, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) got updates on Donna’s firing – though Donna clarified that she told Eric she would leave.
Katie flew into a rage and argued Quinn shouldn’t get to make the firing decisions, but Donna felt this was over. She got choked up as she insisted Eric chose Quinn, but she acknowledged that Quinn was the one who wanted her out of the picture.
