Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, May 25, tease that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will hesitate over Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) proposal while Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) admits he’d been defrocked. Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) passion will also bring some hot moments, so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.
At the pub, Eric will talk to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) about some huge news that affects his future.
Days spoilers say Eric will reveal that he’s been thrown out of the priesthood – and it’s all because of the unauthorized exorcisms he performed on Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).
Kate will think the silver lining of this defrocking is that Eric can reunite with Nicole, but he’ll shut down that idea.
Since Nicole seems happy with Rafe, Eric won’t want to meddle in their relationship.
At home, Nicole will reel now that she’s found an engagement ring in the new Duke’s pocket.
It won’t be long until Rafe gets down on one knee and asks Nicole to marry him, but she’ll hesitate on accepting the proposal.
Rafe will worry that Nicole’s lingering feelings for Eric are the problem, but she’ll spin that notion around on Rafe and suggest he feels threatened.
Nicole will fear that her bond with Eric might be the reason why Rafe wants to lock in an engagement.
However, Rafe will insist he wants a fresh start now that all the Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) drama is over.
Days spoilers say Rafe will confess to buying the ring quite some time ago, so he’ll hope he can convince Nicole this is about his desire to build a life together.
Nicole will still have her doubts, so Rafe will think maybe he should take his proposal back and forget this ever happened.
Before Rafe can call the whole thing off, Nicole will make the impulsive decision to accept this offer of marriage – and the pair will land in bed together to seal the deal.
Speaking of landing in bed together, that’s exactly what’ll happen once Gabi heads back to Li’s hotel suite.
There’ll be some sizzling scenes as Li teases Gabi about needing to settle down with a nice girl, but Gabi is obviously more of the naughty type.
Ava will also sleep with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) at his apartment, so it’ll be another case of the wrong people hooking up!
Once Jake and Gabi drift off to sleep, they’ll dream of each other instead of the lovers they’re actually in bed with.
