General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) may snap over Peter August (Wes Ramsey) evading Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) justice. Will Liz want to avenge her murdered husband after learning about his plan to fight the deadly charges in court?
GH fans know Liz was genuinely tempted to finish Peter off when he showed up at the hospital just barely clinging to life.
Liz wishes Peter would’ve succumbed to the poisoning he faced in jail, but he’s proving to be the character who simply can’t be killed!
Of course, Liz might want to change that when she finds out what Peter’s up to this time. Before we get to that, we should note that things are looking up for Liz in her personal life.
Liz recently took a big step by putting her wedding ring in a drawer. It was a significant and symbolic move that showed she was ready to move on with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
Unfortunately, Liz could face a bit of a setback on the road to closure.
That’s because Peter has hired Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to get him off the hook for Franco’s murder – and Martin just might be a good enough lawyer to actually make that happen.
Martin pointed out that he saw the potential to poke a few holes in the PCPD’s case.
Peter apparently has some larger plan to go free in general, but he’s starting with this Franco angle and intends to go from there.
Liz will try to focus on heading down a new path with Finn, so she’ll get ready for a fun first date. Unfortunately, the fun will ultimately be derailed by some Peter news.
Sooner or later, Liz is going to find out about Peter’s push to prove his innocence and avoid being labeled Franco’s murderer.
This could bring back Liz’s familiar vengeful desires and make her want to truly finish Peter off this time.
Liz is bound to be absolutely furious and may become fixated on the justice Franco deserves.
It could lead to issues when it comes to Finn and Liz’s romance, but perhaps he can once again talk Liz out of doing something she might regret.
There might be another opportunity for Liz to seek fatal revenge, but Finn might talk her off the ledge and urge her to concentrate on being happy despite Peter’s infuriating move.
