General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, December 7, teases that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will face a tough loss while Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) suspects Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) secret. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will also interrogate Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
At GH, Britt will keep spreading the news about her birthday party, which she’s hoping to throw for herself on The Haunted Star.
However, Terry will grow suspicious when Britt offers updates on this bash along with a cheerful invitation.
Terry knows Britt well enough by now to realize when something’s bothering her. Despite Britt’s attempt to plaster on a smile, Terry will sense sadness behind it and wonder what’s up.
Britt doesn’t want too many people in the loop on her Huntington’s disease, so she may come up with more excuses to explain away her birthday blowout goals.
Cody is also in the dark on Britt’s condition and the rapid progression of it, but things would make a lot more sense if he knew the truth.
For now, Dante will interrogate Cody about Britt’s harsh treatment of him and try to figure out why he deserved it.
To be fair, Cody was initially after the necklace worth $35 million and used Britt as part of his plan. That certainly wasn’t cool, so Cody may admit that as he confides in Dante.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will also seem curious as she latches onto some idea in Wednesday’s exciting episode.
There are certain things about Cody and his past that remain a mystery to Sam, so she’ll be eager to learn more – especially since she knows there’s a secret related to Dante.
At Pentonville, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) seems poised to announce that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is going home today.
Since Victor got Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) to pull some strings, Spencer’s immediate release must be the goal Victor had in mind.
Victor will fill Spencer in on his prison stint wrapping up early and face off with Cyrus soon after. Cyrus has grown quite fond of Spencer, so it’ll be a tough loss when his chess partner goes home.
Nevertheless, Cyrus gave Spencer a gift that he could give Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and is hoping their bond will continue.
Victor may get in Cyrus’ face to insist that’s not happening, but Cyrus will inevitably deliver some veiled threats and leave Victor appalled.
At Wyndemere, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will put Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) on the hot seat as he questions him about Esme Prince (Avery Pohl).
Nikolas certainly won’t reveal that he’s holding Esme in the north tower, but Finn will still feel like Nik is hiding something.
If Finn insists on going inside and spies the prenatal vitamin bottle on the table, that could create more complications.
It’d be easy for Finn to mistakenly assume Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is pregnant by Nikolas and guess that’s why she’s been so drawn to him lately.
Other GH spoilers say Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will have a strategy to narrow down some options, so she’ll divulge it to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
Since Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is alive and being held hostage somewhere, Felicia may think she has a way to nail down where she’s in captivity – or at least get closer.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will also track Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) down at her new hiding spot, so that’ll bring a romantic reunion and the bombshell that Lucy was shot with a rubber bullet.
Anna will be relieved to know Lucy survived, but she’ll still need a firm plan to clear her name, free Lucy and take Victor down.
Although Valentin will toss some ideas around, Anna won’t want him doing anything too reckless.
Back with Felicia, she’ll receive some information that she finds unsettling.
Felicia may find out something that’ll make it even tougher to stop Victor’s reign of terror, but she’ll want to keep trying!
