The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, December 16, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) found John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) at Forrester Creations, but they didn’t know what was going on with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Since Hope and Steffy were dying to know what happened, they asked Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) who Ridge left with: Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) or Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
Charlie didn’t see any of them leave the building on Friday’s B&B episode, but he did have camera footage.
Hope didn’t think that was necessary and ended up texting Brooke, who was at home.
Steffy texted Taylor and found out she was at Brooke’s place too, so she worried along with Hope about another fight going down. That led to Hope and Steffy rushing over there together.
At Brooke’s house, she was in celebratory mode with Taylor after purchasing a cake.
Brooke wondered if Taylor was sorry about cutting Ridge loose, but Taylor was only sorry they didn’t do this sooner!
After all these years, Taylor and Brooke had kissed Ridge goodbye – and Brooke thought that was a kiss they could agree on.
Brooke and Taylor enjoyed some sparkling water as they talked about taking back their power.
Once Taylor admitted she never wanted to be Brooke’s enemy, she ran down the list of all Brooke’s amazing qualities.
Brooke rattled off plenty of Taylor compliments as well and agreed this was the nicest they’d ever been to each other.
Taylor couldn’t believe they fought for so long over a stupid man and wanted to make a vow to never fight over Ridge again.
Brooke took that vow before they cut the cake and held it up for a toast. Steffy and Hope got the wrong idea when they arrived, so they ran over to stop what they assumed was the beginning of a cake war.
Brooke and Taylor explained how they’d chosen themselves and were now celebrating since they didn’t need Ridge to be happy.
Although Steffy and Hope were taken aback, they seemed thrilled over the updates and were so proud of their moms.
While Hope and Steffy were off getting extra plates and forks for the cake, Brooke and Taylor called each other friends and were thankful for finally reaching this point together.
At Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) place, he primped and prepped while Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) watched nervously.
Although Katie Logan (Heather Tom) agreed to come over, Liam wasn’t as certain as Bill was about scoring another chance.
However, Bill was hopeful that Katie would stay for the rest of her life and felt things would be different after tonight.
Liam ultimately wished Bill luck, but he remained anxious about his dad wearing his sword necklace again.
Bill assured Liam that the necklace was just for protection, which he wouldn’t need once Katie came back to him.
In the Forrester Creations design office, Katie turned down Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) dinner invitation since she agreed to go see Bill.
That news surprised Carter, but Katie was worried about Bill since he’d never seemed so vulnerable before.
What affected Will Spencer’s (Finnegan George) father also affected Will, so Katie felt like it was important to pay attention to Bill’s emotional well-being.
That said, Katie hoped to take Carter up on his dinner offer another time.
Once Katie made it to Bill’s house, she admitted he didn’t seem like himself.
Bill insisted he was never himself when they were apart and made another speech about all his regrets.
Katie couldn’t understand how Bill had been so reckless with their family, so he acknowledged that he tended to get in a bad headspace and make poor decisions.
Nevertheless, Bill begged Katie to just tell him that he had a chance for forgiveness and to reunite their family. Bill just needed an opportunity to rebuild Katie’s faith and trust in him.
Once Bill swore that he’d never cheat on Katie again, he cried and said he just needed her to say she’d come back to him. Katie looked uneasy as she teared up as well.
