The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, March 11, reveals that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) sought engagement ring answers while Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) decided to rebound with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) after Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) pushed him away.
At home on Friday’s B&B episode, Brooke argued that Ridge deserved to move on with his life.
Ridge wondered if a divorce was really what Brooke wanted, but she assumed that was what Ridge wanted since he was already living at Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) place with Taylor.
Ridge clarified that he was living at the guesthouse as he got a bit flustered.
Brooke thought Ridge would be happy, but he argued that no part of this made him happy.
Even so, Brooke urged Ridge to go after a life of peace with Taylor and the children they shared.
Brooke wished she deserved Ridge’s love, but she felt that she didn’t – and that’s why she was setting him free.
Ridge said he’d have someone pick up his stuff later and started to leave.
Ridge stopped briefly to say that for the record, the only life he ever wanted was with Brooke.
After Ridge headed out the door, Brooke sat down and gasped as she cried.
At the cliff house, Steffy quizzed Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) about why he was backsliding on the situation with Ridge and Brooke.
Steffy also felt that excusing any of Brooke’s behavior would just give her an opening that she could use to her advantage.
Next, Taylor came home and admitted Ridge surprised her at work earlier.
Taylor knew Ridge was still struggling over everything that happened with Brooke, but Steffy insisted Brooke only had herself to blame.
Thomas urged Steffy to stop picking on Brooke, who had been through a lot recently.
While Thomas was on a phone call, Taylor decided to head upstairs and decompress.
Steffy promised to tell Taylor once Ridge got back and then turned her attention back to Thomas.
After Thomas said he had to take care of a work crisis, Steffy questioned why he kept defending Brooke.
Thomas assured Steffy he wasn’t doing that, but he hinted about how they couldn’t make assumptions.
Steffy didn’t understand since Brooke was responsible for everything that went down that night.
When Ridge returned, he didn’t want to talk about the worsening Brooke drama.
Ridge just wanted to enjoy the solace at the cliff house, though he admitted to still being concerned about Brooke as his wife.
Steffy reminded Ridge that Taylor would never betray him like Brooke did.
Steffy sent Ridge to Taylor’s room, where Ridge admitted Brooke let him go and offered a divorce.
Taylor assumed Ridge had mixed feelings, so he confirmed it.
However, Ridge was also feeling a lot of things about being in the house with Taylor. He caught Taylor off guard when he dove in for a passionate make-out session.
Back with Brooke, she gazed at a happy “Bridge” photo. Brooke sighed over what she’d lost and remained down in the dumps.
At Forrester Creations, Quinn helped Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) mix and match jewelry for a dress.
Quinn thought Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) would rock this whole look and wondered what happened with the engagement ring she designed.
Zende admitted he never got a chance to pop the question.
Zende pointed out that Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) thought Paris would say yes if he asked now, so Quinn suggested that was encouraging news.
Zende didn’t want Paris to feel pressured, but he also wanted to show her this could be the beginning of a new adventure.
Zende wanted Paris to be his wife and had to assume there was no other guy for her except him.
At Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) loft, Grace said she’d camp out there all night if she had to.
Carter suggested Paris should hide, but Paris chose to tackle the situation head-on and let Grace in herself.
Grace seethed as she gazed Paris up and down – clearly furious over her daughter wearing next to nothing at Carter’s place.
“How dare you! How dare you do this!” Grace shouted. She didn’t want to hear what Carter had to say and questioned how Paris could treat Zende this way.
Grace refused to let this go on a moment longer and felt Carter had stabbed Zende in the back.
After Grace ranted about Carter breaking Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) heart, she brought up Carter’s awful track record with women.
Grace said she wouldn’t debate this with Paris and felt that Carter was a player.
Grace declared this romance over and suggested Carter was betraying the Forresters once again.
Grace tried to drag Paris out, but Paris pulled away and made it clear that she wasn’t leaving.
After Paris said she loved Carter, she took his hand and said Carter loved her, too.
