General Hospital (GH) preview video for the week of July 10 to July 14 details an assassination attempt at Metro Court that goes wrong. The weekly preview video shows gunshots going off at the Metro Court pool. Dante Falconerni (Dominic Zamprogna) reports that three shots were fired. According to Dante, the target was either Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). However, an unintended target, a third person, pays the price.
3 Shots Fired
GH spoilers for the week of July 10 reveal that everyone will be enjoying the warm summer weather in Port Charles.
Many of the city’s residents will be at the Metro Court pool. It’s a busy day at the Metro Court, with people hanging out, swimming, chatting and sipping cool refreshments.
Suddenly, three shots ring out in the summer air. As people swoop and duck for cover, others push innocent would-be victims out of the way.
GH Spoilers: Dante Falconeri’s Report
That is when Dante jumps into action to call for help. As Dante looks around him while talking on the phone, it appears that nobody really knows where these gunshots came from.
So, that sets up a murder mystery with several possible suspects as well as a mysterious victim.
Dante specifically says in the weekly preview clip that three shots were fired. So, the shooter didn’t intend to just scare, threaten or injure. The villain intended to kill someone, but who and why?
2 Possible Targets
General Hospital spoilers for the week of July 10 reveal that Dante meets with Sonny and Anna after the shooting. While Sonny is serious and Anna on guard, Dante informs the two characters that there were two possible targets.
Dante then explains that the shooter intended to fire at either Sonny or Anna. However, clearly, the shooter didn’t hit either target. Instead, someone innocent gets caught in the crossfire.
General Hospital Spoilers: Ashford Family Tragedy
When looking at all the spoilers for the upcoming week, it really seems that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) could be the victim. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) assists in surgery.
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is overwhelmed with emotion. Plus, Trina gets comfort from Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).
Of course, Curtis could be a red herring in this storyline. The pool is quite crowded at the time of the shooting. So, perhaps the victim is someone unexpected.
Now, the question still becomes who was the intended target? Even though many suspect it’s Sonny, it seems the character has been on the front-burner constantly in the past few years.
Maybe it’s time for the focus to be on someone else, such as fan-favorite Anna Devane.
