General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks, January 9 to January 20, Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) loyalty will impress Laura Collins (Genie Francis). The fact that Elizabeth has been working so hard to protect Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will leave Laura moved by Liz’s actions during the week of January 9-13.
Of course, Liz is protecting herself as well, but she may leave Laura out of the loop on all the hostage details.
Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) doesn’t remember her time in captivity – and Liz would like to keep it that way for as long as possible.
Since Nikolas got Esme pregnant, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will voice his disapproval.
GH fans will see Victor and Nikolas face off, so that growing tension will be important as this storyline moves along.
In the meantime, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will learn something that rocks him to the core.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will also get updates on Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) leukemia battle, so that’ll change everything.
We’ll see Carly face the music, so she’ll own up to her sabotage scheme and prepare to deal with the consequences.
Drew will eventually realize Carly has been lying about Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) bio mom status all along.
Nina will also find out about Willow’s cancer fight and will assume Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) talked her into delaying chemotherapy.
Out of concern for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver), Nina will blow up at Michael and act like he could’ve cost Wiley the only mother he’s ever known.
Michael may not think this is any of Nina’s business and may slam her for snooping in Willow’s medical chart, which is in Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) box from the hospital.
However, this is indeed Nina’s business since she’s about to learn Willow is her biological daughter.
Nina should end up being the bone marrow donor match that Willow so desperately needs.
Over with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), she’ll connect with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) as they realize they have more in common than expected.
Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will also hope for Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) help, so she may be in over her head with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and all the poker game debt that’s piling up.
Later, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will be summoned for a crisis at the PCPD, so that could involve a legal jam for Sonny since Michael and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) are trying to create one.
Nevertheless, Diane will use her magical attorney powers for good and could at least offer a temporary fix.
During the week of January 16-20, Willow will struggle to believe what she’s hearing.
Michael will also be deeply disturbed over a shocker, so the news of Nina’s birth mom status should throw them both off.
GH spoilers say Michael will make it clear that he won’t just forgive past mistakes.
Just because Nina is biologically related to Willow won’t mean it’ll instantly repair what’s broken.
There’ll be some exploding conflict that leaves Nina leaning on Sonny for support.
Sonny will also hurl an accusation at someone, so he may act like Carly’s deception was about revenge.
Carly’s lies could be a problem for Michael as well since he’s set to unload his anger on someone. This Willow and Nina bio link revelation will create quite a mess!
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will express sympathy, so she should be “Team Carly” and give her mom some much-needed comfort.
Back with Dex, he’ll offer reassurance to Michael and perhaps let him know that he’s still all in on taking Sonny down.
Dex might also act like he’s staying away from Josslyn – even if that isn’t true at all!
As for Heather Webber (Alley Mills), she’ll manage to stir up some suspicions, so she’ll have to be careful and may get a warning from Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) soon.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) will eventually find that she has an unexpected ally.
Nikolas will be rocked by Victor’s move, so Victor may decide he’s had enough of this Cassadine wildcard and help Ava put Nik behind bars!
Other General Hospital spoilers say Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will give Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) a gentle push, so he may relent on genetic counseling like Portia’s been hoping.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will also face a difficult bombshell, so he might witness Josslyn and Dex kissing or something along those lines.
It could give Cam the confirmation he needs that Josslyn fell out of love with him at least partly because she was growing closer to Dex.
