General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has decided she doesn’t want a DNA test for now, but she did raise an ominous possibility. In GH’s February 28 episode, Trina wrestled with her decision and talked about the damage that could come from not knowing.
During that conversation with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Trina acknowledged that the truth could be forced out eventually – like if there was a medical emergency.
Since Trina brought up the idea, we should consider the idea that it’ll actually happen.
At some point, Trina might land in a life-and-death situation where she needs to know whether Curtis or Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) is her biological father.
Of course, that won’t change the fact that Taggert is Trina’s dad in every way that counts.
Taggert is always going to be Trina’s father whether they’re related by blood or not.
However, that won’t really matter if Trina ends up needing some life-saving donation from her bio dad or some other piece of medical knowledge that relates to him.
Trina might face a health crisis that results in her moving ahead with the DNA test and finding out for sure whether Taggert or Curtis helped bring her into this world.
Naturally, there’s more of a storyline if Curtis is indeed the bio dad and has to navigate that with Trina.
Plus, it makes sense considering Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) had that mysterious genealogy match around the same time as Trina.
Perhaps Trina doesn’t want the DNA test because she already knows what it’ll say deep down – and seeing Curtis on paper as her biological father may be more than she can at handle at the moment.
Nevertheless, Trina will surely have to get bio dad updates sooner or later.
Will Trina decide to seek this huge news on her own or could a medical emergency force the truth out in a scarier way?
