General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, September 1, reveals that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will attempt a new strategy in hopes of jogging “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) memory, but her plan presumably won’t work out as well as she hopes.
Elsewhere, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will score a grandma bonding session with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver), so she’ll make the most of it and hope she can continue pulling Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) closer as well.
Outside Kelly’s, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will try to alleviate Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) concerns about moving in with him. Chase will make a powerful pitch, so it looks like Brook Lynn will finally surrender.
Other GH spoilers say Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be proud of Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) for problem-solving when it comes to the youth center. Kristina will share some info about her project and the effort she’s putting into it, so Sonny will want her to keep up the good work.
Next, Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) old home will become Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) new one as she brings Georgie Spinelli (Eden Harker) and James West (Gary James Fuller) inside.
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will also be on hand since she’s usually good about helping the kids adjust to changes and new experiences.
Speaking of changes, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will excitedly hint about some of those during his discussion with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).
Since GH writers have really been playing up Charlotte’s heartbreak over Lulu’s coma, could Valentin possibly be working on a way to awaken her mother?
It’d be interesting if all this Pikeman stuff was actually for a good cause – like scoring some miraculous medication that’d finally help Lulu regain consciousness.
Then again, this might have something to do with Wyndemere. Maybe Valentin will find out Ava Jerome (Maura West) is hoping to sell Spoon Island and the castle – giving Valentin the opportunity to snatch everything back up.
At Pentonville, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will seem tickled pink as he talks to someone who presumably works there. Despite the bleakness of those prison walls, Cyrus will think everything is going to plan and will show great optimism.
That could have something to do with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) since he’s on the verge of getting arrested. Mason Gatlin-Holt (Nathanyael Grey) insisted it was all going down tonight, but what exactly did he mean?
Maybe Cyrus will be happy knowing that Sonny’s walking into an arrest trap – perhaps one based on the fake intel that was planted for Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) to find and pass along to the boss.
After Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) gives Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) some tough love and points out that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) isn’t going to change, she’ll urge Joss to accept that Sonny may always come between them.
Josslyn will end up drowning her sorrows since she’ll worry about the constant danger Dex is in – not to mention the fact that she barely gets to spend time with him lately.
Although Dex will avoid falling into the looming trap, Sonny won’t be as lucky when he’s taken into custody by the feds!
General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn will get drunk and face some shocking Sonny news later, so stay tuned for updates on all the turmoil. CDL will have other fantastic General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so drop by frequently.
