The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, July 7, reveals that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) thought Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) would get past what happened in Italy, but Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) insisted Liam wanted a divorce.
Thomas said he was so sorry and added that he never wanted to cause Hope any more heartache, but she didn’t want him feeling guilty since she initiated the kiss.
Hope said she did it knowing the risks and guessed maybe there was something wrong with her, but Thomas assured her that wasn’t true.
Even so, Hope didn’t feel like the wonderful person Thomas thought she was since she might’ve destroyed her family.
Thomas argued that one mistake didn’t take away years of Hope being the most amazing wife and mother.
Although Thomas thought Liam just needed time to deal with his initial hurt and anger, Hope pointed out that he already went to see Steffy.
Hope thought Liam wanted Steffy again, so she said it was the same old song and dance – just Liam and his divided feelings.
When Hope was with Thomas, she admitted he made her feel like the only woman in the world.
That’s why Hope would always remember the two of them in front of the Colosseum, so Thomas asked what she was saying.
Hope pointed out that Liam wanted Steffy, but she wanted a man who only wanted her.
“I want you, Thomas,” Hope confessed before planting another kiss on him and staring at him intensely.
At the cliff house, Steffy flashed back to both of Liam’s kisses.
When John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) appeared, Steffy gave him updates on Thomas’ shock over Liam witnessing the “Thope” make-out session in Rome.
Since Thomas wasn’t making excuses and was trying to protect Hope, Steffy thought he seemed like a man and not a little boy anymore.
Finn thought that could be a sign of how deep Thomas’ feelings for Hope were, but Steffy said it was apparent that the feelings were mutual.
After Finn praised Steffy for how much she cared about Liam’s marriage, she said she just didn’t want to see Liam or Thomas get hurt.
Finn talked about how Steffy stood up for people and had principles, but Steffy looked nervous as she once again flashed back to Liam kissing her.
At Spencer Publications on Friday’s B&B episode, Liam told Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) that Hope couldn’t explain why she’d do the one thing that would ruin their marriage.
Wyatt argued that both Liam and Hope had made it past other mistakes, but Liam couldn’t trust Hope any longer and stuck to his divorce plan.
When Wyatt asked if that’s what Liam really wanted, Liam said of course not.
However, Liam didn’t think the love in his marriage could overcome Hope’s pursuit of Thomas and the fact that she had feelings for him.
