The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 12, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) enjoyed another round of lovemaking with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), who said it felt like they were made for each other and gushed over how beautiful she was inside and out.
Hope told Thomas that he made her feel alive – and she never wanted this feeling to end.
Something new had been unleashed in Hope that scared her on some level, but she suggested maybe this is what Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was talking about when she followed her heart.
It took a lot for Hope to admit she’d been feeling this way about Thomas for a while, but she just had to give in.
Hope confessed this was so much better than what she dreamed of, so Thomas smiled as they nuzzled each other.
Part of Hope was screaming inside and asking her what she was doing, so she said maybe she was crazy.
Hope knew she had the perfect family before, but she couldn’t stop wanting Thomas and kissed him passionately.
Thomas couldn’t believe that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) jumped straight to divorce and felt that any man should be grateful to be with Hope.
After Thomas said he was indeed grateful to be with her, he told Hope that he wanted to put her first and love her alone.
Hope knew that she was technically still a married woman, but she didn’t feel ashamed and thought what they shared was so passionate and incredible.
Before Hope got herself in any more trouble, she decided she should probably go. Thomas said he had a question first and asked if Hope could honestly handle what was happening between them.
On Wednesday’s B&B episode, Hope confessed that Thomas unlocked something in her and reiterated that she’d never felt more alive.
Once Hope confirmed that she wanted to keep exploring that with Thomas, she admitted she needed time to figure out what her next steps would be.
Until then, Hope asked if they could keep this between them. Thomas said of course and urged Hope to take her time, so she leaned in for another kiss.
At Spencer Publications, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) kept trying to convince Liam to go back home and work things out with Hope.
Liam told RJ he was persistent and a good little brother, but RJ insisted that he wasn’t in high school.
Although Liam wasn’t trying to be condescending, he said it was different when it was your own life. RJ countered life was all about the ups and downs in every single relationship.
After RJ urged Liam to focus on the love he had for Hope and his family, he said Liam could forget about the fact that she kissed Thomas. RJ guaranteed that it wasn’t going to happen again.
However, Liam thought back to how excited he was to surprise Hope in Rome.
Something led Liam to the Colosseum that felt cosmic, but then he had to watch Hope kiss the one man he hated more than anyone.
RJ once again pushed Liam to forgive Hope, but Liam couldn’t get that image out of his head and said forgiveness wasn’t in the cards.
Nevertheless, RJ argued that Liam wasn’t a quitter and urged him to fight for his marriage since he’d regret it if he didn’t.
At Forrester Creations, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) talked to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about Hope crossing the line with Thomas in Rome.
The secret had already spilled to all the key players at the office.
Carter thought they were lucky that everything had been kept quiet in the press, but Katie still seemed worried that it could turn into a scandal if the news leaked.
Although Hope got caught up in the moment, Katie thought Hope had come to her senses and needed to concentrate on her marriage now.
Ridge pointed out that it wasn’t an issue of Thomas backsliding, so his son wasn’t to blame.
Katie insisted that Hope got confused, but she felt it was up to Liam to forgive her and keep his marriage from falling apart.
