The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) friendship could land in rocky territory soon. Although Taylor and Brooke made a pact to be friends first, that’s just not a realistic goal.
It’s one thing for Brooke and Taylor to promise they won’t fight over Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), but it’s quite another to refrain from hostility surrounding their children.
Taylor and Brooke managed to keep their friendship going during the Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) custody chaos, but that was perhaps only because their kids made an effort to get along for Douglas’ sake, too.
Now we’re dealing with a different situation since Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) accused Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) of flirting with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and saw the potential for her to undermine his recovery.
Steffy ultimately backed off once Hope repeatedly denied having romantic feelings for Thomas, but her concerns will linger in the back of her mind.
There’s a chance lines will be crossed during Hope and Thomas’ San Francisco business trip.
Depending on where B&B writers want to take this storyline, that could be step one of Brooke and Taylor’s pact ending.
Since Taylor knows how much progress Thomas has been making, she may be like Steffy and blame Hope if something goes wrong.
Hope has been in denial about her feelings for Thomas, so Taylor may think she’s setting her beloved son up to fail.
Brooke, on the other hand, may find a way to twist this and blame Thomas instead.
Maybe Brooke will act like Thomas has messed with Hope’s head so much over the years that she doesn’t even understand what she wants anymore.
Of course, that could lead to the claws coming out over Brooke’s history.
Taylor might argue that Hope has turned into her mother after all and rant about the example Brooke set for her daughter.
This could lead to the love triangle over Ridge reigniting after everything spirals out of control, so there may be too much damage to come back from.
Brooke and Taylor’s friendship might be destroyed permanently if they’re not careful!
RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) didn’t want to get stuck in family drama, but he could get caught in way too much of it once the Forrester and Logan clans are facing another round of battle.
