The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) are almost ready to head back into romantic territory. Daniel is feeling discouraged thanks to his split from Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), but he may get over the sting of rejection sooner than he thinks.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has really stepped up as a good friend to Daniel lately – and Daniel has done the same for her.
Of course, Y&R fans know there’s more than friendship under the surface since these exes have such a rich history.
The show revisited that history through flashbacks on Valentine’s Day, so that was a telltale sign about Daniel and Lily’s romantic future.
It’s obvious that a steamy reunion is brewing – and spoilers for the week of February 27-March 3 back up that idea.
Meanwhile, we’ve got Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) growing closer, too.
Chelsea already went on what might as well have been a date with Billy since their server assumed it was one!
Although Billy and Chelsea have been sticking to friendship, it probably won’t be long until they surrender to their mutual feelings.
Things should be close to taking a romantic turn for Chelsea and Billy, so we can’t ignore the timing here.
Billy and Lily are trying to be on good terms as exes, but things could get awkward as they watch each other falling for other love interests.
There’s a good chance the show will throw Daniel, Lily, Billy and Chelsea together for a weird date night eventually.
It’d be easy for Chelsea and Billy to cross paths with Lily and Daniel at Society.
Perhaps they could all sit together if Billy and Lily feel the need to prove they’re fine with each other moving on.
That’s the kind of thing that could lead to some truly tense moments around the dinner table.
This might turn into an uncomfortable double date that everyone is eager to go home from.
We should mention that Billy will likely accept Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) co-CEO offer soon, so that could lead to resentment from Lily.
Billy bailed on Chancellor-Winters because he wanted out of the corporate world, so the fact that he’s landing in another corporate role could set Lily off.
That news may add to the tension if this double date night transpires, so disaster could strike!
