The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, December 19, reveal that Matt Clark aka “Mitch Bacall” (Roger Howarth) will have an ominous job for Detective Annie Stewart (Catherine Kresge) while Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) asks Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to turn traitor.
Since Diane doesn’t think they can count on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for help, she has another plan to sink Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
It looks like that plan will involve convincing Michael to betray Victor and side with the Abbotts.
Diane will make a plea to Michael on Friday’s episode, so but it may prove pointless in the end.
Since Diane will want evidence that could put Victor behind bars, Michael surely won’t be interested in scoring any for her.
In the meantime, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will cause problems in Victor and Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) relationship.
Nikki recently hinted to Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) that she might never be able to forgive Victor for his latest Jabot destruction plot.
This is serious business for Nikki, who feels like Victor has crossed one line too many.
Nikki may confront Victor on Friday’s show and accuse him of hating Jack more than he respects her wishes.
If Victor really wanted to prove his love and devotion to Nikki, then he’d drop this since it’s upsetting her so much.
Jack may find a way to make matters worse between Victor and Nikki as the week winds down.
Y&R spoilers say Jack will meddle in Nikki and Victor’s marriage, so that could lead to more bad news for the couple.
Next, Matt will have a secret strategy session with Annie in the park. It’ll be time to divide and conquer, so Matt will instruct Annie to “take care of” Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun).
Annie will hint about that being tricky since Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) is watching over Sienna, but Matt won’t care and will expect her to get things done.
Since Annie will apparently take the decoy GCAC suite bait, she could potentially walk right into the Newmans’ trap.
As for Matt, his Newman feud will head in a disturbing direction, so stay tuned for updates on his bold moves against Noah, Victor, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and anyone else on his target list.
