The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, April 10, reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will join forces while Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) feels backed into a corner.
At the GCAC, Martin may fight to keep his Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) ruse going a little longer, but it’s clear that the jig is up.
After getting Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) confirmation on Martin being the twin Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) fell for, Traci decided to confront her fiancé downstairs. Traci pushed him to come clean about his identity if he ever cared about her at all, so will Martin admit the truth?
Martin does seem to love Traci in his own twisted way, so it’s possible he’ll confess to taking over Alan’s life and wooing Traci.
Of course, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) may get firm kidnapper proof soon as well. There’s a good chance Martin’s fingerprints will be a match for some found at the farmhouse where he was monitoring Sharon and Phyllis from afar.
Chance may place Martin under arrest and haul him down to the GCPD on Thursday’s Y&R episode. It’s possible Martin could make a last-ditch effort to run, but he probably wouldn’t get very far since he’s surrounded by Chance, Traci, Ashley and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
As for Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), she may answer Phyllis’ question about whether she intends on making a play for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Summer might deny having anything in the works, but Phyllis may not be so sure!
At some point, Sharon and Phyllis will surely be contacted about Martin’s arrest if he’s indeed taken into custody. That could be why Phyllis and Sharon will join forces on Thursday’s show.
Sharon and Phyllis may make some predictions about staring down their captor together. Since Phyllis and Sharon were forced to be a team in captivity, they may feel like it’s fitting to be a team as they face Martin now.
