The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of January 12-16 reveal that viewers can expect outrageous schemes, big troublemakers and a storm that’s brewing, so here’s what Y&R has in store.
First, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have to decide whether he’ll strike a deal with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
After Jack and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) use their Matt Clark (Roger Howarth)-related leverage, will Victor be willing to accept Jack’s offer?
Meanwhile, it looks like Matt will be at Victor’s mercy following his capture.
Victor will have to decide Matt’s fate and figure out the best way to protect his family.
As for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), she’ll support Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) following an apparent medical setback.
It could be a good opportunity to bring Nick and Sharon closer in the end.
Over with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), he may appreciate the distraction Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) offers following Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) decision to leave town and put some distance between them.
Phyllis always likes to play games with Cane, but Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also become her scheming partner in the coming episodes.
There’s a good chance Billy and Phyllis will get their hands on the AI program eventually.
All signs point to Phyllis and Billy using that program for revenge on Victor and Newman Enterprises, so that could stir up a whole lot of trouble down the road.
Of course, that means Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) plan to steal the AI program with Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) help and frame Cane for it is destined to fail.
As for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), she’ll move down the dangerous path that “Ian Ward” (Ray Wise) has put in front of her.
Mariah is convinced she has to let go of Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) to embrace a new destiny, but she’s going to stir up chaos instead.
Y&R spoilers hint that Mariah will ultimately kidnap Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (last played by Rainn and River Ware) as part of some twisted plans.
Fans will soon see some happy family moments that serve as Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Winters’ (Melissa Ordway) calm before the storm.
It’ll pave the way for a lot more drama once Mariah snatches Dominic up and leaves his parents in panic mode!
