General Hospital Spoilers reveal Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) showed up at GH this week with a long list of complaints. She hasn’t been feeling very well, and sitting down with her friend Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) didn’t exactly help her to feel any better. BLQ made sure to note she wasn’t pregnant, but Maxie seemed oddly suspicious of Brookie’s peculiar symptoms.
A BLQ baby with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is just what this relationship in ruins needs to drag things out as Chase is clearly headed for new territory, possibly with Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).
Given that Chase has already helped BLQ raise a child in the past, will the real thing be a mere breeze? We think not!
General Hospital Spoilers — Bailey Wasn’t Permanent
When Chase and BLQ were pretending to parent Bailey Jones (London and Jett Prinzo Berendt), they knew that wasn’t a permanent situation.
At any time, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was going to be captured, and little Bailey Lou would be headed home with her real mother who longed to have her back in her arms, Maxie.
It was a difficult transition for both Brook Lynn and Chase when they had to say goodbye to their temporary tot, but they were both rather quickly captivated by their affection for one another, which they stumbled over for some time before finally hooking up.
GH Spoilers Hint – Chase Doesn’t Trust BLQ Now
Brook Lynn learned a lot from her experience raising Bailey Lou from birth. Even though she didn’t have the pressure on her shoulders of knowing she had to raise her into adulthood, she did have the stress of keeping her safe from Peter.
It wasn’t all a walk in the park, in other words. Still, Brook Lynn has a pattern of behavior that has ruined many of her relationships with other people.
She often tends to put herself first, which is what she did that led to the demise of her relationship with Chase.
Will she prove to him once again that Brook Lynn comes first by giving him no say in the pregnancy or baby’s life moving forward?
General Hospital Spoilers — How Will She Tell Him? She Might Not!
Brook Lynn could affirm all of Chase’s worst opinions of her, and it won’t be hard to pull off.
BLQ may be hesitant to tell Chase she’s pregnant, worried that he would think she was trying to trap him or that she would expect him to give their relationship another shot and was attempting to use the baby to get what she wanted.
That wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibilities with BLQ.
Out of fear of how he could react, she might delay telling him the truth — Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) style — and that could serve to sabotage her anyway when he interprets her silence as cutting him out of the equation where his own child is concerned.
General Hospital has a history of capitalizing on trending news to captivate their audience, too; so we wouldn’t be surprised if we saw BLQ considering abortion so she didn’t get in the way of Chase’s career pursuits once again.
