Does anyone else find the news that Lamar Odom has had a hardcore drug habit for two years a little bit convenient? I mean there are obviously huge problems going on inside of his marriage to Khloe Kardashian, there is no doubt of that. We also know that Lamar has enjoyed a string of side chicks within the last year or so meaning fidelity hasn’t exactly cracked the top of Lamar’s to-do list either. But is he a drug addict? TMZ reported that he is and that a final intervention on Wednesday resulted in failure so the couple is done, for now anyway. Now TMZ had added information that Lamar’s drug of choice is crack cocaine and that, at least off-season, he is a certifiable crack head.
I just have to wonder where this intervention with the whole family took place without any of the paparazzi suspecting anything? Let’s not forget how both Lamar and Khloe have been hunted like animals in the midst of the scandal. Also, Lamar’s other women have been quick to talk to the press about their sexy time with the L.A. Clippers player, but they’ve never mentioned drugs even once. That’s a little odd isn’t it, to throw him only halfway under the Kardashian bus?
Lamar certainly does party, but there’s a difference between partying and being a non-functional junkie which is what this has been made to sound like. It just makes me wonder if once Khloe realized that the marriage was completely broken the Kardashian publicity wheel began spinning to make her a little less to blame. She is reeling in embarrassment by her husband’s bad behavior and screwing other chicks makes it sound like Khloe was never enough for him which is a real public shot to girlfriend’s ego. If we think his bad behavior is connected to hardcore drug use, well that’s no longer Khloe’s fault, is it? Momager Kris Jenner is a pro at spinning webs for the press, is this one of them?
